The trouble with that is, is that the Decepticons are seriously outnumbered mold wise in the first two years, not counting combiners:
1. Megatron
2. Shockwave
3. Seekers
4. Soundwave and his cassettes
5. Reflector
The resident Rewind... well, half of one
- Jelze Bunnycat =:3
Looking for:
- TR Furos (Hardhead's head) and Crashbash (lost him
)
- PotP Punch head
- TR Galvatron right arm (the gun one)
- CW Brake-Neck/UW Wildrider, CW Offroad
- TR Twinferno & Grotusque
- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1 (plus repro Victorion hands and feet?)

Excatly, and really who's left out of the 1984 Decepticon - Reflector, Megatron and Skywarp. Compare that to the the 1884 Autobots.
We're still waiting on:
1. Bumblebee
2. Cliffjumper
3. Brawn
4. Windcharger
5. Huffer
6. Gears
7. Ironhide
8. Ratchet
9. Sunstreaker
10. Hound
11. Mirage
12. Trailbreaker
13. Mirage
14. Wheeljack
We really shouldn't be seeing another Decepticon for at least a year or so when you consider that.

hasbro didnt make shockwave or reflector, so they dont give a flying **** about the perceived order you just put up. also my hasbro friend is working with some of his insiders to see if he can get me some solid info....from them or over seas

The numbers are merely for counting purposes, not ranking. The number of molds still stands though.

I would LOOOVE a MP Reflector.
Your list is for 1984 toys, but if you count season 1 cast. You have Insecticons and the Constructicons too!.

I have a feeling we'll see the coneheads before any other decepticon. I mean, thats just an easy remold, as opposed to a whole new mold, right?

Since when have Hasbro had anything to do with the development of the Masterpiece line beyond repackaging existing TakaraTomy figures?

The Insecticons and Constructicons did debut late in US Season 1 (episodes 14 and 15 respectively), but they were more prominently featured in (the very long) Season 2, hence my tendency to omit them.

Not to mention that neither featured in the first series of SRLTF toys.

Actually that comment was more in response to the first part of your post where you were talking about Hasbro factoring into the equation as to what gets released in the MP line.
It would be interesting to see just how much advanced notice they got of MPs as they're essentially just importing a purely Takara line (eg Car Robots).
