RUMOR: New TakaraTomy Exclusives Coming?

Allspark staff member Meister79 received the following solicitations from Malaysian toy shops.
http://www.allspark.com/content/view/11127/Toy shops in Malaysia have started sending out solicitations for a number of Asia-exclusive Takara Tomy Transformers items. The list goes like this:
Platinum Edition Ultra Magnus
Platinum Edition Grimlock Vs Bruticus
Platinum Edition Classic Predaking
Platinum Edition CNY (Chinese New Year) RID Ultra Magnus
Platinum Edition CNY Supreme Starscream
ACG HK Con Metroplex
Cybertron Con Shockwave's Lab
Cybertron Con Beast Hunters Optimus Prime
The first item is probably the Ultra Magnus with the Forge of Solus we saw at Toy Fair. Grimlock Vs Bruticus are probably the Fall of Cybertron versions. Classic Predaking is listed with the hefty price tag of RM549.90, which leads us to believe it to be a reissue of Generation 1 Predaking. RID Ultra Magnus and Supreme Starscream should be reissues from Robots in Disguise and Cybertron. ACG HK is the Anime-Comic-Game fair held anually in Hong Kong and Cybertron Con is an Asian Transformers convention, so the items are likely exclusive to those conventions.
For the moment, take this list with a pinch of salt. We will bring you more updates as they are made available.

That's a lot of high price point items, in a short space of time. Are the Platinum editions doing well or are Hasbro being overly optimistic?

Nah, something tells me RiD Ultra Magnus and Supreme Starscream are for next year.

A list of Asia exclusive Transformers solicitations have been making the rounds at Malaysian toy shops according to
Meister79 of The Allspark. At first these were thought to be rumors but have recently moved into the realm of possibility according to a
tweet by Marcelo Matere. According to the tweet he has been working on package art for Transformers Malaysian exclusive figures. We don't have a lot of information on the figures other than what was in the solicitation. We will update you when we receive more information.

Given the price, I'm assuming Metroplex is the new Titan class figure. If so, it'll be interesting to see what makes this version so different.
As for the two Cybertron Con exclusives, I'm going to throw out a repaint of a Cyberverse playset for Shockwave's lab and a special edition of the "Ultimate" Optimus Prime.
Truthfully, nothing on this list strikes me as essential.

Platinum Magnus is probably the same one we're getting
Grimlock vs Bruticus is probably the FOC figs
"Classic Predaking" is probably a G1 rerelease
RID Magnus might be either of the RID Magnuses we've had.
Supreme Starscream is that ginormous Cybertron one
Metroplex is new Metroplex
Shockwave's Lab I don't know.
BH Optimus Prime is probably that big one.

Looking back at our
Toy Fair 2013 coverage, the Grimlock vs Bruticus was mentioned there with Grimlock having vac-metalized plating. Which brings into question the whole Asia-exclusive nature of this list.

Am I reading the pricing right? 549.390 for Classic Predaking? 349.90 for Starscream? Looks like I may only get Starscream after some saving up for a while, if I'm reading that right...

Did you run them through a currency converter? IIRC 549.9 = +/- $180 USD
Or have you already done that?
