S250, famous for obtaining early production samples of Transformers, has recently laid his hands on a new redeco of Energon Downshift. The figure itself is predominately blue and appears to be cast in plastic, rather than painted, adding to the legitimacy. To see it for yourself, click here. Worth mentioning is that he bears a resemblance to Action Masters Slicer.

Ooh, obscure. I approve. Doesn't really fit the G2 theme but hey, whatever.

I hope that BotCon's recent robo-chubby for Actionmasters means we might get a Mainframe or an Over-Run.

One of the better Energon molds. I'd pick this up Botcon or not.

I was thinking that but those bonnet decals are definitely Slicer's.

The more the merrier. So far I like what I'm seeing out of this years Botcon..just wish the damn registration would hurry up!

Considering the fact that Action Master Slicer was a straight repaint of Action Master Wheeljack, I'd consider this highly probable in terms of identity.

Looks Like they are continuing thier homage to the Elite Guard set by adding another UK Decepticon to the mix.
Kindof how they keep adding to the Shattered Glass or Beast Wars or even thier Pre G1 line up.

Oh my god, the first from this years Botcon (possibly, though being from S250 it is very highly likely) that I want. I don't care if it is Slicer I will just stick a purple Autobot faction sticker on it and call him Shattered Glass Wheeljack. Click the link in my signature to see my custom SG Wheeljack.

LOL watch them release it as a special Mystery figure limited to (oh lets say) 400 pieces & one per person. Only for attendees to find out after they are given out that 200 of them are g2 con logoed Slicers, and the other 200 as SG bot Wheeljack.

A Downshift with Slicer's colors? A weird coincidence, but since BotCon's G1-Europe/G2 themed I'll go with with him being Slicer unless there's a purple on it.

Freaking beautiful. That mold has not been used enough. It has a goddamn dual barreled shotgun! We need more shotguns as weapons.

Wouldn't be the first time a Botcon atendee figure set has heralded past themes

It could very well be an add-on being that they've been using those as a way to go back and "finish" prior con sets. Btw, I fully expect a SG Galvatron this year using the Cybertron Evac mold, ala the comic profile we saw at the end of last year in the club magazine.
