I don't know. He had a very cool appearance, and I think he would be a great leader. I still have hope that they both will be released, but when this was reported, I think Hasbro had planned to continue the line into spring 2012, but I think since then they have announced that all movie figures will be out by December, then I believe they changed their minds, possibly due to poor sales, Probably due to every wave being 3-1 in bumblebee's favor. If they do still release these, I will be both excited beyond all imagination and shocked. If not, They better release Dino, or this line has totally tanked.

Don't get me wrong, I love Bumble Bee, and I agree he is one of the most popular characters, but Hasbro should have known that they have played this characters toy variations out, and need to have made the line more diverse, and not over pack the Bumble bee variations. They should have made a Leader Class Shockwave, Megatron or even Dino/Mirage, before shoving another yellow monster in our face. Collectors are the main people that will shell out 40-45 bucks for a Leader Class Transformers, not the little kids that the Movie Bumble Bee familiarity is geared towards. Hasbro representatives need to be reading these sights more often.
We as fans and collectors are the bread and butter for Hasbro, and they know this. So if we post enough requests and forums about our wants to see less Bumble Bees and more diversity in all of these lines, we can hopefully get the Hasbro executives to start listening again, and give us our deluxe, leader and HA Dino/Mirage, Wreckers, Megatron, Shockwave, even less popular, but more desirable HA, Voyager and Leader Class Arcee, Elita 1, Jolt.

Sorry I know I am ranting a bit, but how fast would any of us run to the store to buy a Leader Class Dino/ Mirage. I mean come on it's a fricken Ferrari for one thing and it's Dino/ Mirage. How many of us would not want a Big Leader Class Rad Dino/Mirage Ferrari over another Yellow Bumble Bee Camaro.

Not very fast at all, I love Mirage, but not a leader. Human alliance at most, Deluxe at least.

Well doesn't Hasbro need some new figures for the holidays or will they continue to stock the initial lines? Or did retailers order so much up front they are done ordering for the year? Or will it all be Prime?

I am not worried at this point. Hasbro is in business to make money, and to make their customers happy. They have employees watching these fan forums all of the time. Some members may even be employees in disguise...lol did I just type that? Get it?...Robots in disguise.

They will give us new stuff for sure for Christmas season. It may not satisfy everyone, but the majority will be happy. Face it they know by now that we love Big Transformers. It's just a matter of gauging which ones have the best audience. They don't always get it right, but that is just the nature of product planning.

It's ending this year? Thought they were gonna have a few more.
Oh well, still holding out for Megatron. I doubt there'll be a ShockWave but I'll gladly take one if it's real.

I think this is probably an accurate assessment; that is, ending the DOTM line in December most likely means an accelerated schedule for new releases. And after this year's experience with sales, I think it's fair to expect a barrage of releases leading up to the holidays (followed by a dry spell in the first half of 2012). Some of this is going to be Prime stuff; but there aren't any Leader class Prime toys in the pipeline (as far as we know).

A side effect of all this is that there will probably be less DOTM inventory than there was for ROTF. And that probably means that some figures will end up in short supply.

What they really need to do is just release the Takara Tomy Jetwing Optimus Prime (which is very movie accurate and is jest a slight remodel to the RoTF buster prime) and then make a new Megatron and Shockwave. and if they dont use Takra's jetwing Prime then make their own slight remold of the RoTF Prime, I think its the easiest thing to do.

I'd be happy with Jet Wing Prime from Hasbro and a Megatron before the year is out. I don't think Shockwave is gonna happen.

This will be awesome, if they're more like ROTF SS and Prime, detailed. I want an awesome Megatron who is actually fun to Transform and looks cool, like the first movie. Also, Shockwave better be pretty beast.

NO! Ultimate Optimus is a disaster. It's a tiny Optimus with a giant trailer that doesn't do crap except turn into a butterfly suit with almost zero articulation. So even the claim "biggest optimus prime ever" depends on how you look at it--without the suit, it's just a medium, not particularly nice looking Optimus. Leader is plenty: Less gimmickry, more robot.

i say screw shockwave and give us a movie megatron that will make up for the last 2 molds they did which were garbage.

I'm gonna guess that we'll get either Megatron or Shockwave with Striker Prime which in the US/UK will be called Leader Optimus Prime. They'll do another leader Prime depicting his DOTM appearance not Megatron AND Shockwave.

Striker will not get a US release.

It may not be called Striker Prime but I bet you we see a Leader Class Optimus Prime next year using the same DotM mould. They won't give us two NEW moulds so it'll be either Megatron or Soundwave with a US release of an existing Japanese toy. Like HftD, the only new mould was Starscream.

Well unless Hasbro announces something for later this year I have lost all hope that we'll be seeing Shockwave or a new Leader Megatron.

If theres only one mod, a Leader Megatron would be better, while shockwave is cool and what's not, I think Megatron is more important.

Sounds like it's best if movie toy collectors like myself don't hold our breath. At least not till 2014 when the next movie rolls out. Hopefully by then Hasbro will have learned some lessons about how to take full advantage of a billion plus dollar movie.

What I think would be cool is if they launched the Movie Trilogy line in the fall of '13, in time for Christmas. Might get people excited about the fourth installment and they can finally give us Que, Soundwave, and Leadfoot.

It's dead. Loads of toys are cancelled, never to see the light of day. Totally sucks. I wanted my really undersized Megatron with ludicrously over-sized mechtech crap.
