Maybe all the Licensed Hunters could be done up as a special user group with the ability to set custom titles. Their title (or name) would be colored differently from the staff so they could be recognized as Licensed Bounty Hunters. That way you could give them a private Hunter's Lodge for them to gather and discuss bounties and co-ordinate hunts (I had an idea recently that multiple bounty hunters could team up to take a mark down all splitting a cut of the bounty).

Now that's a good idea.

We could set up someone to fetch the bounties and post in there to, like a mod for that forum or something. People who want bounties posted in private can PM that person and they can put it up on the lodge for the hunters to look at and accept it.

I love it when a plan comes together.

Lets not get too excited here.

This game is not faction based, that's what tournaments are for. This is for competition within factions as well as from opposing ones, so there will be no factional variations of the title (to begin with.)

If/when this takes off and creates more interest across the game, we can look to expanding it but until then we keep it as one title for all licensed hunters and it all kept in GD.

So, make a suggestion... 'Hunter' on its own isn't good enough, it needs to be something that advertises and explains the game in 2-3 words.

Licensed Bounty Hunter seems simple and appropriate; if you deviate from simple into humorous (e.g. Baby Boba Fett) you cross that line of understandable while also crossing the line of not meeting everyone's tastes in humor.

So Licensed Bounty Hunter, Bounty Hunter, Contract Killer (borderline not pg-13...) all seem valid.

If it's a user title, we don't really need the licensed part.

Bounty Hunter
Scalp Hunter
Head Hunter
Emblem Hunter
Mech Hunter
Deathdealer
Enforcer
Leg Breaker
Kill Master

Alien.

.... wrong context

So long as it's distinctive and the GD gets an announcement (maybe add it to the helpful information sticky?) then it will be clear.

Mech Hunter gets a vote, but don't we need something more - Seibertronian? What are some good TF words describing Tranformers themselves?

It will be a site news article to start with, then when its died down it will probably be sticked, depending on how cluttered the thread gets.

It needs to have the pphrase Licensed in it so it obvious to non HMW players what it is, but so far im liking:
Bounty Hunter
Head Hunter
Mech Hunter
Deathdealer
Predator

Bounty Hunter is still the leader so far.

Predator is to close to Predacon I think.

Spark Hunter
Seeker
Heavy Metal Hunter
Heavy Metal Seeker
Machine Slayer
Cybertron Boogeymen
Assassins
Metal Assassins
Spark Assassins

I think Spark Hunter and Seeker are the best ones I've come up with.

Spark Hunter is my win.

Perhaps a quick voting thread would be in order Psych? Or you can just enforce you extreme overlord powers and make a command decision.
