New faction, new insignia, new faction's leader, lion altmode, space pirate, obscure character given special treatment, it's a novelty thing. :-B

=P~

You know the whole argument for Grimlock: Giant Space Fire-breathing Dinosaur Robot?

This is on the same lines: Giant Space Peg-leg Pirate Robot Lion.
Pirates. In Space. Who are robots. And also animals.
It's a matter of ticking all the boxes of childhood obsessions. ;)

I, personally, love him. I don't expect anyone else to do so.

Just realised: we have TF zombies, dinosaurs and pirates, and the characters are shapeshifters by nature. So far, all the biggest current trends are there!

So...are people STILL gonna argue that TFP isn't part of the Alligned continuity with the games and books?

Especially with that FOC Dinobots comic series that leads directly into season 3 of Prime?

Sorry Dreadwing, you've been replaced on the want list. Come to me, SKYQUAKE!

Magnus is a pass. The MechTech hammer turns me off.

They're making it hard for me to not want Thundertron.

And Grimlock is a given. Him Grimlock king!

Extra dimensional wormholes. Problem solved. And can be used to win any argument! ;)

I only have PRiD Megatron who fits that description, so I think I need more. :P

(As for the second part, I recommend watching the recent Sky adaptation of Treasure Island. A whole different level of pirates, compared to Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean.)

I'm disappointed that his foot just detaches. It's not that I'm a partsformer hater. I just think it could've easily been done better. Though I guess it might be more accurate to the look Hasbro wanted to hive him this way.

I dont think the games are the same timeline

Seeing how in wfc megatron obtains dark energon but in tf prime he gets it for the first timeand search the galaxy for more and found it on earth. While wfc megs had a ton of it lol.

And also how many characters like bruticus and metroplex not being mentioned.

Foc should just continue into a G1 story.

Indeed, there are several glaring inconsistencies if one considers them one continuity. It's far easier to consider them merely a continuity family.

Can't have that. If he truly fits into the TFP line, that needs to go.

dude the cons lost allllllllllllllllll of the dark energon during the war if you had read the books i guessed i cant remember but i believe they gave up all of the dark energon they had for trying to follow optimus anyway by the time they were on earth before the series began megatron left earth during those 3 years he was gone to find another source of the dark energon. oh and they dont have time to talk about the other autobots due to they all ways have to focus on the present and not the pass but hey there are bots who have been mentioned i only remember 5 perceptor, the wreckers roadbuster, impactor i think, pyro and some other wrecker i forgot what his name is any way the wreckers who have been mentioned are all dead as said by wheeljack. oh and the games wont go into g1 cause dinobots in g1 were built on earth not on cybertron and in the consal breakdown and dead end are playable in the ds version of war for cybertron cyclonus motormaster dragstrip are all playable which is not possible in g1 cause motor master, dragstrip, breakdown, and dead end are stunticons and the stunticons were built on earth and could never have been on cybertron during the war that and cyclonus was either skywarp or thundercracker before they were killed and rebulit by unicron and in the game them and cyclonus are separate characters. dude you just got sarged!!! :HEADHURTS: :HEADHURTS: :HEADHURTS: :HEADHURTS: :HEADHURTS:

that and the combaticons were not present during the war they were in storage even if they were they would not have those forms and they would not have been able to turn into bruticus and they i think would not be decepticons i think they were renegades not autobots but renegades

Not that the "nose" looks distinctly like one on the hopeful game model....Prowl has a hint at one in just the shape of his optics, and barricade has a little nub of armor that could resemble one if he got a toy at that scale. I don't off the top of my head remember any other characters from the mmo that we have good images of to base off of, so that's all I have for now in supporting his "nose."

I like this guy, but he doesn't yet make it on the list of wants for me, sadly the pirate mmo insignia is the most I care about, even if he looks cool (in both modes). Maybe after we get more on the mmo I'll want him for some personal reason or another...

It may be in the same family as the games and books, but it doesn't appear to be in the same direct continuity as the others. If we look the events with dark energon do not add up from the games as well as the primes series, and in WFC we can assume that orion pax never existed, since optimus was in fact optimus before becoming a prime.

Hmmm I would definitely get magnus over thundertron. Really he doesn't fit in the whole prime asthetic, and doesn't look like he'll go well with any of the other characters. Especially since he has a nose and facial hair.

Thundertron? "Whispered secrets of a shattered age, I summon you: renew this sage!" or "Snikt, Bub." Either way. I like him.
