So Masterpiece Thundercracker is the new mold, but comes with the old stand and accessories. So, where do you use the missile pods? If you plug them into the wings than the null rays will just be dangling off the bottom of the plane.

You might be in the minority, but you're not alone. If they must be repaints, I couldn't have thought of a better place for them. Sure straight repaints of them would've been bad, but head remolds, and new weapons on top of that? Perfect!

I'll be honest. I never read a Wreckers comic yet. I barely know who these guys are, and never even heard of Whirl(as a G1 char) and Impactor till last year. I had the G1 toys of Topspin and Roadbuster though. Regardless, I couldn't be happier with the mold choices. I'm already a hueg fan of the FoC Bruticus mold set, and I love remolds of this nature.

If I had to nitpick about something(couldn't call myself a fanboy if I couldn't!), I'd want the combined form to have a more appropriate name, rather than stolen from a RiD character. But honestly, the positives completely outshadow it.

Amazing set of remolds.

I feel like a lot more exciting news is coming from SDCC than from Botcon.

Motto: "I shall always haunt you, even in death."
Weapon: Overrider Rifle
MP Thundercracker: Nice, but I don't care about it.

G2 Bruticus: If my friend can't get the game-accurate one from SDCC, I'll get the G2 version.

GDO: Still looking for Swerve and Springer.

Dark Energon: Meh. No.

Entire FOC line: FOC YES. I'll rarely combine the Wreckers (as they should've done Rotorstorm because he came up with the whole damn idea), but I like them individually. Blaster, Grimlock, and the cassette-disks are yes, though I would've liked Graphy or Raindance in place of Sunder, as Sunder is usually a 'Con.

Also, being the curious li'l fanboy I am, I'm wondering if Twintwist's dual drill weapon can replace the cannons on his back. They're of similar size, at least, and I don't see a way for the drills to store easily in vehicle mode...

that's the way it's been going for a while.

sdcc has more companies there.. it's a bigger event.. more important people.. more news outlets..etc.

same with toy fair.. both of those conventions (toy fair/sdcc) usually reveal more than botcon.

Maybe I'm growing old, but I'm losing more and more interest in the toylines. The more figures and repaints I see the less I'm interested. With that said tho, there is still a place in my heart for G1-ish Dinobots and Insecticons. I was hoping to see Bombshell and Shrapnel molds.

Ah well, at least MP TC wasn't canceled like UK's. I'm a little disappointed to see a black nose on TC, I was hoping to see it blue as I recall from the show. I think as they are trying to make MPs representative of the cartoon, I may go MP exclusive.

Hopefully they'll bring out MP Sunstreaker next year and eventually release a TRU Exclusive of Sideswipe and Sunstreaker sold together for $100 or so!

Here's to fingers crossed...
