Following in the foot steps of last year's popular SDCC exclusive Starscream Skystriker with Cobra Commander crossover, Hasbro will be offering another Transformers/GI Joe crossover at this year's event. Hasbro has revealed many of their new products from the GI Joe Retaliation toy line for 2012 which just happens to include a SDCC Decepticon Shockwave HISS Tank! Image mirrored below, click here to check out their full line up of GI Joe products.

Hopefully we'll be hearing more about this at next weekend's Toy Fair.

oh, is this like the Starscream crossover figure? If so, you guys are gonna LOVE his robot mode! (Sarcasm)

I'm sure some folks will go after this, but it doesn't seem nearly as cool as Starscream was and I think the secondary market prices will end up reflecting that.

Looks nice.. No transform = no interest from me (unless it is one of the older Japanese PVC figs)..

Yeah, I hope they're testing the waters with these things... and are planning for a BIG, amazing line of crossovers.

While the Star Wars and Marvell ones come across as silly to me — because they transform into "hairy" Chewbacca, etc. — some Joe vehicles that transform into either known popular characters OR even generic meched out heavy robots would be amazing.

I'd get that whole line.

I always preferred the look of the originally hiss tank over the movie version. I'll have to pass on this one.

Probably have just as much luck getting this after SDCC as I did with Starscream

This is cool and all BUT......When in the hell is Hasbro going to finally cash in on a REAL GI Joe/Transformers crossover line? Like the Star Wars/Transformers line? But I mean a good one, not the crappy Transformer mode but the SW mode is SIC. One that actually interacts play!!??

Example: have EVERY Transformer (VEHICLE) be able to actually transform and look good to, and be large enough to hold or fit 3 3/4 inch GI joes!! Hell most of their vehicles are large enough already. This is a huge cash cow that would attract BOTH collectors in droves!!! I know I would buy em ALL!! Im just in disbelief that it doent happen. it should have happened years ago. let alone since the GI Joes got a new makeover in 2007.

What ZERO,lol. like me waiting 3 hours on HTS website and getting screwed outta one?? I remember when a seller on Ebay wanted $90 shipped, pre-order and I laughed at him because it was only a $50 SDCC item. usually you can get any sdcc item for only a small mark up if you WAIT. But not with SS, I made a mistake,lol.

And thats exactly why Hasbro needs to make an actual line of GI Joe vehicles that transform and of course come with GI Joe pilots!! To go with the 2007 on up body type.
