Yeah, I have similar problems too. ^^^

Each page takes much longer to load (since the recent change), and half the time I click on the wrong thing because the page is jumping all around (still loading).

I mean, hey, I still love the site and still come around, but since it was mentioned - I figured I'd chime in.

Whenever I try to go to this site on my Wii (when I can't access my PC, that is), there isn't enough memory for any of the pages to load. There's too much media on the screen for my Wii to handle, and my Wii is up-to-date on the most recent of software updates.

Same story with my 3DS. It helps if you refresh the page, though.

Not for me, it doesn't. Any page of Seibertron crashes the browser on my Wii.

Keep on getting logged out. Using Firefox 10.0.2. Selected remember me, it is not working. Help? Very frustrating to constantly get logged out. THanks!

It's happened three times today, the site cannot locate the database.

I give it five minutes then try again, and it's fine.

Is this routine maintenance?

Same issue on Palmoon 3.6

Seems like that checkbox just doesn't work as nearly every time I come back here I have to log in again.

Wouldn't be so bad if after logging in I actually went back to the topic I was trying to reply to (since I generally don't notice I'm logged out until trying to post a reply) but no, it always takes me way out to the list of forums so I then have to back up in my browser until I'm back where I was and then I have to refresh before it lets me reply.

Of course, the way I browse, I open a bunch of topics in tabs before reading any of them, so then after replying to the first one, I then have to refresh all the others as well. :HEADHURTS:

The more I visit the site, the more I'm disappointed by how "clunky" it is to me now. I mean, even scrolling down the page is choppy to me - and this is after I wait 5-10 seconds for the page to load. Hell, even when typing this message the characters are just a tad behind when I type.

I have the highest-level of DSL I can get. Yeah, that's definitely not the fastest out there, but it should be adequate. Shouldn't it?

Is there anything you can do, Ryan?

Some how the server clock reset to 2008. Ryan was able to fix it easily though.

I had this problem as well. Seems better now...not sure if it was due to upgrading to IE9 or clearing out the temp internet files, objects, and whatnot. It was getting to be unusable, though.

I'm guessing that whatever screwed with the clock caused the slow down. I have 16.25 mbps cable and it lagged.

It's been lagging for months for me and I too have cable. But like I said, it's better after I both upgraded to IE9 and deleted my temp internet crap. Still not perfect, but it was taking like 15+ seconds for the pages to load. And it would freeze while it did so.

Worse than thinking I'd been sent back in time four years (come to think of it, that could have been a useful event) I couldn't post! I got an error message saying I couldn't post again so soon after posting.

I had that too, I was left wondering how many years we now had to wait between posts. I was also getting that SOPA message pop up telling me to do American things.

Help! My bots colors cannot be changed in the edit page.

1:you cannot see the color you want to change to.
2:The color doesn't seem to want to change

Overall, it's broken.

EDIT: sorry, this was to go in the HMW bug reporting thread. My bad.

It's cool. One of us HMW'ers would have picked it up anyway.

There's a few bugs in HMW, but for the most part the game is functional. Ryan works on HMW when he has a chance.

Can you shoot me the link to your character as well as what colour (roughly) you'd like? I MIGHT be able to try it through the control panel. Otherwise, the colour changer may not look like it works but if you change it and save it, the colour WILL change so you can go for hit and miss.

Did you try experimenting blind?

It just might be quicker than waiting for me to get to it.

-edit-
Actually it works in Firefox. You can't see the spectrum but if you click on the radials the alt mode colour will change, so you just have to play hit and miss.

I tried. I got frustrated. I came to this thread.

EDIT: Never-mind. I tried again, and I figured it out.

Hmmm, I can not seem to see what my character's alt mode color is in the character editor.

I use Google Chrome FYI.

I had this problem too, but I found that zooming out of the page(ctrl+/ctrl-) works just fine, try it and see if that works.

Thank you for the info good sir. Worked like a charm.
