I've just tried to edit a post in the TF Toys Forum 3 times but to no avail. I added the additional text and clicked submit, but when the posting displays the added content isn't there. I tried it 3 times with the same results.

Can help, yes? :D

Are you using Chrome, by any chance? I had the same thing happen to me while posting a news article this morning. It only happened once, but it was a nuisance.

I'm using Chrome and it's been goofy in general. Seems the pages aren't refreshing unless you hit F5. It might be working better now after hitting F5 on all the pages I tend to frequent, but for the last two days it didn't look like the site was updating at all. I think the pages were all just cached and not updating or something.

Yep, I've got chrome. I tried to enter more posts this evening but I noticed that no new posts were even showing in the whole Toy Forum, including the latest ones I'd submitted. On a whim I tried the site on my phone and everything was proper. It was then that I noticed your replies and tried the f5 fix on my desktop. It works, but wow, that a hassle. I'd better get my computer genius girlfriend over here to puzzle this out for me. I'm woefully low tech.

Thanks for the tip! :D

I don't know if it is my Internet, but the RPG threads are lagging a bit, and are showing old posts as the most recent. Even hiding complete new pages in the Chatterbox thread.

EDIT: It is happening here too.

As far as I can tell its some sort of disconnection with the Chrome Update process. Maybe some sort of damaged code or upgrade that was received now prevents the updates of the site. Quite annoying really and I do hope that eventually it is solved. I have grown quite attached to Chrome.

not exactly a problem but in another figure related site I post in, when I click on a link, I still stay on the main site and open up another window for the link. At seibertron, I'm sent immediately out of seibertron to the link.

Is there a way to change this?

Change it, don't know, but there is a way around it; if you're using Windows, just right-click on the link and you should get a menu of things like 'Open', 'Open in New Window', 'Open in New Tab', etc. Whether you want 'New Window' or 'New Tab' depends on your browser and your personal tastes.

When using Opera Mobile on my Android phone, and go to post, it asks me if I want to save it as a draft before continuing. I have to click no and then it allows me to post as normal.

And before anyone says it's my choice of browser, it's not. It's only started doing it this week.

PROTIP: click the link with the mousewheel (if you have one) to open it in a new tab ;)

I am having serious issues with emoticons.

If I type : P I get the very basic one, rather than the one shown in the smiley menu.
Same with the Big Grin one (my favourite!), I only get the : D version.

And it also happens by clicking on the ones I want from the menu.

But I can see, and have received PMs with the two I mentioned!

Anyone else?

That's exactly what I have!

I used to be able to use the BigGrin one, never considered :P.
Good to know I'm not alone.

No matter what computer I'm on, what browser I'm using, or what, my login is never ever stored, even when I click store my login. What am I doing wrong? And don't tell me to clear cache/cookies, that's been done ;)

It's doing it to me, too. I'm currently running Google Chrome. Firefox sometimes does it, but with password managers built in, plus plug ins that fix it, it can force the login without me even thinking about it.

It's real nuisance on my phone's browser. I have to stop long enough to log in before I can see the content I'm linked to, via email.

Hassle.

Hey, is it just me, or does ever video that gets embedded have the "Pause" "Play" "volume" and "Load Bar" removed? Is that just youtube, or is it an actual problem?

If you move your cursor out of the video box, the bar will auto disappear on some videos. At least, that's been my experience. If you want the video controls, you'll need to full screen it.

Or, if you right click the video, choose "Watch on YouTube" and it'll take you to the origin page for the video with all features intact.

There was a time when this site wouldn't work properly on my Wii Internet browser due to the memory running out for any Seibertron webpage.

Then, at some point, all issues ceased, so I figured the problem was fixed.

Recently, however, the problem has resumed, so now it's not working on my Wii again.

Though, I don't regularly use my Wii to browse the Internet, but there are still some times in which I've no choice, so it is an inconvenience.

So it's been confirmed as removed. Oh well. At least I know it's not just something specific to my briowser, or something.
