I disabled this feature and have noticed a incredible speed increase when posting on the forums. If anyone else can confirm that this problem has been resolved for them, I would greatly appreciate the feedback. Thanks!

Not great mind you, but as I mentioned my internet speed's always been on the poor side

It is. There was a wave of "place to cook food" spambots, and the filter helped locate them more easily and faster.
