I know Peter Cullen will be there, any word if Frank Welker will be there?

And can Protoform packages run out? Or can you get unlimited Protoforms for everyone you know?

General admission is only available Saturday and Sunday. The specific hours the dealer room is open to the gen.ad. is on the site somewhere (FAQ I bet).

Protoform packages are *supposed* to only be available to immediate family members, I think. Don't quote me on that. The details are in the brochure, though, I'm pretty sure.

No word yet. But they've been releasing guests just about every day this week, so I'd keep my eyes peeled on the front page or botcon's homepage/twitter/facebook.

Also, was this suggestion already in the guide?
For some Botcon locations (like the one on Disney property in 2010), food can be overall expensive, especially if you don't leave the property. My friend recommended bringing some dry foods with me on that trip. I took muffins and ramen last year, and didn't regret it. I plan on taking ramen and snack bars this year. :)

Yes, this is great advice. The wife and I always make it a point to stop by whatever grocery store is nearby or if we take a cab from the airport have them drop us off there quickly to pick up a loaf of bread, peanut butter, jelly, cereal bars and some other things to eat in for the week.

In California in particular, even the grocery stores are expensive, but it saves us quite a bit of money in the long run rather than eating out every meal.

Question.

How much do the souvenir sets usually cost?

Usually they wait until the convention itself to release the prices, so I don't think they've officially been announced yet.

However, G.B. Blackrock has been keeping a fantastic Data Sheet of all the Exclusives and Prices since 1994 here, so it should give you some idea of what to expect.

I checked the BotCon website, and shockingly, Peter Cullen is not on the guest list year, so he is not showing up? and nor Frank Welker either

Registration package pick-ups and the club store both open at 6pm on Thursday. Two questions.

1. Will these two have the same line, or will there be two lines (one for the registration package pick-ups and one for just the club store)?

2. What time would be ideal for one get in line?

I have a feeling both are the part of the "secret" guest signing deal. I guess they'll be there for the Prime reading, anyway, along with the rest of the cast for whatever episode they'll be doing.
Or that's what I've assumed since seeing the Prime reading announced. So that's just my own speculation.

You should actually have a specified time that you can get in line for package pick up - it should be in the recent confirmation email in the attached PDF it says to print out. Basically they space out letting people get in line about every hour starting at 6 (so then 6, 7, 8, 9 o'clock, and you get let in at your appointed time, though you can line up outside the room, waiting the hour before, I believe).

And I don't know about previous years, but last year you got in the Store line after pick-up, if you wanted to get in line at all. I think you *may* need your badge to get in line here. Can't recall....
So there are two (really more, they split it up in the store lines to cash/card/ and however many folks they have working there [so like 4-6 lines just for the store]), and the pick-up line, once you get close enough if the line gets too long, get split up into last name alphabetically. So, say, my last name would be Ryu. I'd go in the line for Q-R or R-S depending on how they split it. Get it? :) It's sort of you just follow the signs and the masses, and it's pretty easy to figure out once you're there. :) But there's always staff and fellow fans to ask once you're there too. :)

I arrived late last year so had to ask around...."I missed my let-in time, do I have to wait in line here? -points to line waiting for their let in next hour- "No, you can go on in" *big smiles :D*

General admission tickets are available at the door. :) There's a tab/page on the website as for what that entails (price/time/what it gets you/etc.).
