Well I try.

Preview sounds as good as I'd hoped it would be. I'm just looking forward to seeing the movie so we can have a real discussion based on some real facts.

I know... tell me about it. I've had it up he the eyeballs with all the (and not to quote Fred Durst or anything he touches but) "He said, she said Bull****" I'm still pretty pumped about the movie. A lot of friends and family are still asking me to go and see it with them when it comes out becuase they think it looks "neat" Even my old man wants to go see it with me and I havne't been to the movies with him since I was like 6. He's so straight edge he won't watch anything other then golf, hockey or more golf. :-(

That's funny, because my old man wants to go to. Looks like it's going to be a fun outing regardless, and there's nothing wrong with that!

I think the best part about it will be when my dad asks me "whos that" about 50 times in the theater. He still knows who Prime Megatron and for some reason Rodimus Prime are so he may still have hope. I use to call him Optimus when I was a child because I thought that's what you called leaders :P

I do not--I repeat DO NOT--want my father into Transformers. Then he'd be on here. That would be unpleasant.

I'd probably take (Read as: Force) Tha Tweezrrr to go see it with me.

I know my old man will. He tapped me on the shoulder, and said, "is this a Transformers movie?!" during the trailer when he saw Prime transform. Which was great - because I didn't tell him what the trailer was for, and he hasn't seen a Transfomer since 1986.

It's got the recipe for a major summer blockbuster along the lines of Armageddon and Independence Day. If you don't like those kinds of movies, then I don't know what to tell you.

Well, I appreciate the warning. I have never enjoyed that kind of movie, and it's exactly what I was afraid this movie was going to be. No memorable characters, no memorable moments, all action and no story. For me all of that translates to no entertainment value.

In other words, it's what I expected from the time I learned who the director was.
