From what I remember, it mostly revolved around an adrenaline-fueled Will Smith shouting at an alien before punching it out. There were a few 'mildly amusing' moments, mostly in the you-know-what's-coming-but-you-laugh-anyway vein. I haven't watched the film in years, but the overriding impression of it in my memory consists of big effects and some seriously overblown flag-waving about America saving the world - again - because no-one else has the balls to stand up for our rights or some such. And Jeff Goldblum infecting the alien mothership with a virus wirelessly uploaded from his laptop with no connection difficulties or OS compatibility issues whatsoever.
I thought America saving the world with patriotic spirit
was the comedy in that movie.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but here is a still image right before the final duel in the new TF movie:
If Hulk Hogan is in the movie then I will go see it every hour of every day for a week. Double that if it's the Ultimate Warrior.
Why so Megatron and Warrior can snarl at each other and talk about making the "ultimate sacrifice".
Awsome side note, Mr. Perfect(Curt Henning) is now in the WWE Hall of Fame! Absolutly Perfect!

Laugh all you want but Prime waving a star spangled banner is one thing that would definitely make me walk out of the movie.

That's the picture I was thinking of when making that post.

I'm pretty sure the idea behind that picture is freedom, which is an idea that both the US & Prime have been known to champion, even if the application isn't the greatest when it comes to the US. IMHO, it's not so much a bad idea as an incomplete one.....perhaps if other Autobots were standing next to Prime holding up other flags??

Or even if the US flag was replaced with a UN one.

Can't we just have a token Brit Bot to keep your teenie tiny little island happy? Actually, I thought Midnight Xpress from RiD was British. So there you go.
Admittedly, there's no Scot Bot, but come on, let's not get crazy here.

We'll take Nightbeat if that's OK with you.

Fine... but ONLY if he's voiced by Ewan McGregor.

I was thinking of keira knightley, but your choice of voice actor has merits too.
