Seibertron sports thread

Either this will bomb or succeed.

This thread is about talking about sports. NFL, MLB, College Football, heck La Liga and the EPL if you are into it.

NON sports fans may ask why don't you go to a sports site to talk sports. ESPN is polluted by Jim Rome (immature frat boy who hate anything that kid would like, eg movies based on comic book characters) and Skip Bayless (the Raksha of ESPN) or Colin Cowherd types (I'm a big enough smart aleck). We are talking about kid games that we still love to watch on a website about a 80's toy line, and if works, this can be a wonderful thing.

Its officially a sport. Or at least a competition.

It'll never catch on stateside though, and damn if these things aren't expensive. And you have to build them yourself (It's so you can modify everything to your liking) so I'm out on this one, unfortunately. Would love to get one Pre-Calibrated though, that would be cool.

Cricket is awesome. Australia ruled that sport until we taught the rest of the world our secrets. Image

I'm no sportfan in the sense that I think it's a horrible thing to watch. Seriously, sporting is something you DO, not look at.

That being said... I'm one of those people who runs around the park and sweats like an idiot. I just got back from a run and smell like a daisy.

Remind me to never stop and smell the daisies next time I'm in the Netherlands.

I agree with the sportiment though: as a kid I did six years of swimming, then four of tennis and finally settled on judo. Had to quit when I left for the UK, and only thing I do now is gym training.
I'll be getting back into swimming once the new term starts though. It's been too long.

Sports are more fun to watch when you really know whats going on,or have a team/guy to sheer.

The next World Football cup is in 2 years.
