I started working when I was 16 to afford driving. Either way, I am glad I had to get a job. I still have some good friends from those days, and I won't even start talking about some of the silly crap we used to do. I had a lot of fun, and I met a lot of people that opened a bunch of doors later in my life. I also got the pride of knowing that I wasn't a lazy-ass.

Jobs are for scumweeds. You don't want to be a scumweed do you?

At least, I think I do. I may have a job at Play N Trade, a video game store! I just found out that you can get a job there at 15 too. If only I had known. Now, I can finally buy stuff. So many TFs and awesome video games coming out next year, I had to find a job. (Yes, those are my main concerns as of now.) I just hope that I can pull it off...I doubt it though .

better then my first job. working in the recycling center of a liquor store. every day, id come home reaking of stale beer and covered in some kind of sticky goo that comes when you let a can of pepsi sit for like 5 YEARS

Wow, they hire starting at 15? I need to check them out, then! I guess I never thought of that place as a possibility because I only see weird guys with receding hairliines working in there... Wait... maybe I SHOULDN'T check them out...

Good luck! I got a job when I was 14, even worked during high school (not 40 hours or anything). Was a great experience. Met some friends and my wife there.

Rule number one for any job: don't say what you want to say - say what should say. Biting my tongue and being polite has helped me many times....

I got the application yesterday (I felt stupid in doing so.) and I want to try to get it filled out and returned today. I never thought this day would come.
