Name: Air Raid
Allegiance: Autobot
Sub-group: Aerialbots
Function: Warrior
Alt. Mode: (Cybertron) Cybertronian Jet, (Earth) Heavily modified F-16
Weapons:
- Torque Rifle
- Air-to-air heat-seeking missiles
Height: 28ft. / 8.5m
Quote: "If you look first, you may not leap"

Strength: 5
Intelligence: 7
Dexterity: 8
Speed: 9
Endurance: 7
Courage: 10
Firepower: 8
Accuracy: 7
Melee: 8
Tech Skill: 5
Charisma: 5
Rank: 5

Profile: Of all Aerialbots, Air Raid is the most spontaneous and fearless. More concerned with enjoying himself than his own mortality, Air Raid will fly right into a squad of Decepticons with his guns blazing rather than fire at them from a safe, long range distance. Air Raid fears that thinking too much might make him a liability to his comrades, so he just acts instead. The other Aerialbots wish Air Raid to be more careful, but they apreciate his unscontrained, proactive actitude.

Abilities: Air Raid can fly at speeds of up to Mach 5 and has a range of 1500 miles. He can shoot air-to-air heat-seeking missiles and, in robot mode, carries a torque rifle whose beam can apply up to 80,000 psi of rotational force to any object. Only the strongest materials can withstand warping and breaking under such pressure.

Weaknesses: His reckless behavior often leaves Air Raid exposed to greater odds than he can reasonably expect to handle.

Silverbolt

Name: Silverbolt
Allegiance: Autobot
Sup-group: Aerialbots
Function: Aerialbot Leader
Alt. mode: Rockwell B-1 Lancer
Weapons: Electrostatic Discharger Rifle
Height: 35 ft / 10.67 m
Quote: “Don't look down, look straight ahead.”

Strength: 6
Intelligence: 8
Dexterity: 7
Speed: 9
Endurance: 8
Courage: 8
Firepower: 8
Accuracy: 7
Melee: 8
Tech Skill: 7
Charisma: 7
Rank: 8

Profile: Silverbolt is scared of heights. It is this one trait, above all else, that determines the rest of his behavior. He projects the image of a brave, grimly determined warrior, befitting his role as Aerialbot Commander. In truth, he is just that. But it is a constant struggle for him to maintain this persona, to never falter or show any sign of emotional weakness to those he leads. Helped by the sleek, aerodynamic jet form that makes him appear to be a natural-born flyer, Silverbolt knows that everything about him belies even a hint of the existence of his phobia. And, in fact, no one is aware he has this problem, except Optimus Prime. It is for that reason the Autobot Commander selected Silverbolt to lead the Aerialbots; Optimus figured if Silverbolt felt responsible for the welfare of others, he'd have less time to worry about himself. Given that Silverbolt is an excellent leader, Optimus was right.

Abilities: In jet mode, Subject's top speed is Mach 3 for a maximum range of 4,500 miles consuming the least amount of fuel. Underside is an electrostatic battery that can store random electrons during flight, which Subject can release as a giant bolt of 150,000 volts of electricity. In robot mode, Subject's electrostatic discharger rifle has the same capabilities. One of the few Autobots who can fly as a robot.

Holomatter Avatar: Arrayed in military pilot uniform, Silverbolt's avatar displays a young, well-kept man with a serious expression worn on his face.

Weaknesses: When not giving orders or fighting, Subject becomes vulnerable to his fear of flying, which can result in crashing.

Slingshot

by Marcus Rush
Name: Slingshot
Faction: Autobots
Subgroup: Aerialbots
Function: Ground Troop Support and Aerial Superiority Fighter
Alternative Form: F-35B Short and Vertical Take Off Variant
Weapons: Neutron Rifle in Robot form, Twin Mortar Cannons in Jet form
Height: 28ft. / 8.5m
Quote: “I’m even better than I think I am.”

Strength: 6
Intelligence: 6
Speed: 8
Dexterity: 9
Endurance: 4
Courage: 8
Firepower: 8
Accuracy: 9
Melee: 6
Technical Skills: 9
Charisma: 3
Rank: 5

Abilities: One of the most agile fighters in the Autobot Air Force. He can reach speeds of Mach 2. He can hit a target no bigger than a micro screw at nearly 3 Astro Kilometers. Uses two forms of weaponry, the Neutron Rifle in his robot form and the Twin Mortar Cannon in Aircraft form. His sensors are capable of tracking several dozen targets at once while his weapons lock in for the kill. Future member of Superion

Profile: If there was an award for self aggrandizement, Slingshot would be its annual recipient. An incessant braggart, this agile Autobot is not above taking the credit for the actions of others. He can score a grazing hit upon the enemy and claim it as a glorious kill, and likewise if he is unsuccessful the blame falls at the feet of other mechanisms. He stands alone most of the time with his tales of false glory intermixed with brief snippets of truth, just to give the audience a brief feel of authenticity.
That is not to say that he is a consummate liar. Slingshot is a hard working Autobot, loyal to a fault to the cause. He uses his bravado as a cloak to hide all of the deficiencies. Inwardly he is insecure about all of the actions he takes on the battlefield. If he fails in his assignments, he knows his friends or at least comrades will suffer even stiffer losses. That sort of pressure never leaves his processor as he takes to the sky.
Slingshot is the Aerialbot’s sharpshooter, the best shot in the air ranks of the Autobot corps, if he does say so himself. It is said he can hit the wire off a micro screw at nearly two astro klicks out. He is incredibly agile while in fighter mode, lending to his functions as the Aerialbot’s ground support and air superiority specialist.
Personally he cannot see why Optimus Prime gave command of the squadron to Silverbolt, and tends to resent the commander for his cowardice while in the air. He is abrasive and tends to rub everyone, including his wingmechs the wrong way. But even still, most Autobots would rather have him in the air providing cover than most any other flier.

Weaknesses: Slingshot is the weakest of the Aerialbots. His armor is thin along the wing struts. He is something of a reckless fighter in the sky, and tends to get into the thick of combat and in over his afterburner. While his skills are considerable to handle such odds, it is during these times where self doubts creep in and begin to hinder his performance. His abrasive personality and continual bragging does not lend himself to making friends, and tends to alienate allies.

Skydive

Name: Skydive
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Air Warfare Strategist
Alt. Mode: FA-50
Weapons: Nega Gun
Height: 28ft. / 8.5m
Quote: "Only by studying the past can we win the present."

Strength: 5
Intelligence: 10
Speed: 9
Endurance: 4
Rank: 6
Courage: 7
Firepower: 8
Dexterity: 6
Accuracy: 7
Melee: 5
Tech Skill: 9
Charisma: 5

Profile: Skydive is more interested in reading about jet fighters than being one, He's more likely to have his face stuck in a hologram projection of famous Cybertronian air battles than to be in the air himself. It's not that he's a coward- he's just fascinated by the science of aerial warfare. But even though he's a somewhat reluctant member of the Aerialbot team, he is invaluable- his knowledge of aerial military tactics is without equal. His biggest fault, if you could call it that, is he doesn't realize how smart he really is. At least everyone else around him does.

Abilities: The information-storage capacity of Skydive's cerebro-circuitry is greater than most Transformers'. This enables him to record instantaneously any flying motions he sees, and, within the limits of his design, duplicate them himself. Thus, he's able to simulate the techniques of almost anyone he's studied as well as the gliding patterns of flying creatures he's watched. He is possibly the most skilled flyer of all the flying Transformers. His maximum speed is Mach 2.6 and range is 1400 miles. In jet mode, he can shoot laser-guided missiles with a range of 80 miles. In robot mode, he uses a nega-gun, which shoots a beam that cancels the bonding force between molecules. Only objects held together by the strongest molecular bonds can resist crumbling to dust when hit by the beam.

Weaknesses: Sometimes, in duplicating the flight of another, Skydive pushes his design beyond its limits. This often results in mid-air stalls. He can usually recover before crashing, but while stalled, he is completely vulnerable to attack.

Fireflight

Name: Fireflight
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Reconnaissance
Alt. Mode: F-35B Lightning II
Weapons: Fire-Fog Missiles, Photon displacer gun
Height: 28ft. / 8.5m
Quote: "When I'm flying, no enemy is safe--nor friend."

Strength: 7
Intelligence: 5
Speed: 8
Endurance: 8
Rank: 6
Courage: 9
Firepower: 7
Dexterity: 5
Accuracy: 2
Melee: 6
Tech Skill: 3
Charisma: 7

Profile: If Aerialbots needed pilot's licenses, Fireflight would certainly never have gotten his. He's a definite hazard in the skies. He becomes mesmerized by the spectacular views he sees from above, and, consequently, often pays little attention to where he's going, leading to near-crashes with buildings, mountains, and other aircraft. Only constant prodding by his fellow Aerialbots keeps Fireflight's mind on his assigned tasks. But they can't get angry at him- they realize his carelessness is a result of what humans would call "a childlike sense of wonder," and they can hardly fault him for that. Still, flying alongside him is definitely unnerving to the other Aerialbots.

Abilities: Fireflight can fly at speeds up to Mach 2.0 with a range of 1000 miles. In jet mode, he can shoot missiles that explode and release a mist of highly flammable liquid he calls "fire-fog." In robot mode, he uses a photon displacer gun, which severely distorts visual images by altering the course of photons in light waves. Anyone within the vicinity of a blast from this gun would not be able to see things as they actually are until after the gun's effects wear off, which can take up to five minutes.

Weaknesses: As well as being a danger to others. Fireflight is even more of a danger to himself. He just flies badly. And any human passengers inside his cockpit would all too quickly discover this fact- his sudden jerks, jolts, hairpin turns and rapid velocity changes can easily result in a severe neck sprain, at the very least. His poor flying technique also makes him very fuel inefficient.
