Skyfire did NOT die in Transformers: The movie!physucks wrote:One of my co-workers told me that the original version of TFTM he saw in theaters oh so many years ago, had a scene where Skyfire died. Well his animation model certainly did...Raymond T. wrote:Skyfire did NOT die in Transformers: The movie!physucks wrote:One of my co-workers told me that the original version of TFTM he saw in theaters oh so many years ago, had a scene where Skyfire died. He died in 'Dark Awakening'.
I dunno, I'm one of the ones who likes to boast about being in the region that Hasbro doesn't care about.Leonardo wrote:Meverix, why did I think you live in America?

It's quite obvious, Meverix, that I am a buffoon.
I quite like Bristol and the surrounding area, whether Hasbro does or not.
And Raymond, don't pretend you don't love it!
I concur with you, Decepticlone.

Yes. It's the part where the fleet is heading towards the detonator and the Quints open fire.Nemesis_Apoc wrote:That's from "Dark Awakening," right? guess I'll have to go back and watch that show again.Raymond T. wrote:Told ya!Nemesis_Apoc wrote:Gah! It's true!
Nemesis_Apoc wrote:Alright, cool. Thanks! I'm still having trouble seeing why Skyfire didn't stay dead after Fire in the Sky. I guess it's the same reason Prime's trailer is never seen until he transforms.
In truth, Harmony Gold was still breathing down Sunbow's neck. Even after Jetfire was changed into Skyfire, they still threatend with lawsuits. Still the character was an interesting one, so they brought him back. But in the end they decided not to include him anymore. The model appeared in Dark Awakening, because the bible for season three was largely incomplete at that time. Missing many footnotes that were entered during production of 1 and 2. Mostly likely the note that the model was not to be used again went missing, or it was just an artist who wanted to do Skyfire one more time, and tried to hide him in the crowd by leaving him all white.Nemesis_Apoc wrote:Alright, cool. No, they kept telling themselves to remember and bring something to melt the ice next time. They promised him that they shall remember!Nemesis_Apoc wrote:But the Autobots acted like it was funeral, like he was gone for good. Meh. I guess your theory is good enough, considering he shows right back up in the next episode.
and here I keep picturing Jetfire being held by 5 ice cubes and a rampant refrigerator with a TF CogRaymond T. wrote:No, they kept telling themselves to remember and bring something to melt the ice next time.
