Appearance: Slipstream is a seeker, although her frame differs considerably from most other seekers. Her wings jut up on her back, reaching well over her head. Her vertical tails lie just beneath them in robot mode, giving her a sort of butterfly wing like appearance. Her primary colors are purple on most of her body with teal wings and legs. She is somewhat slimmer and less angular then another seekers. Her alternate mode is a sleek cybertronian fighter.

Profile: Slipstream is a Decepticon of many faces. Her whole attitude and personality change to fit whatever situation or other mechanoid she is with. She does this to get to know the other being better, to gain their trust and confidence, making it all the easier to later use them to her own ends. Whether it be plotting pranks with Skywarp or dutifully assisting Shockwave in an experiment she will play the part perfectly.

Secretly however Slipstream detests almost every other Transformer alive, Autobot and Decepticon. Her arrogance makes her look down on her fellow Decepticons as little more than thugs and hooligans while her cruelty makes her view the Autobots as naïve fools. She hides these feelings perfectly behind her act, making sure that almost no other Transformer knows what she truly thinks of them until it is too late. The lone exception to this is Soundwave, who she openly detests. Seeing as how he can read her mind she feels no need to put on an act towards him.

In the early days of the war she worked as a research assistant to one of Cybertron’s top rocket scientists. This scientist, while nominally remaining neutral in the war, was gradually leaning more and more towards the Autobots. Slipstream smiled and played along as the dutiful assistant, but secretly began cultivating contacts among the Decepticons. The Autobots were far too weak and naïve for her liking. The Decepticons might be mostly a bunch of thugs, but they were strong and didn’t cling to foolish beliefs.

The scientist at last achieved a breakthrough. He had created a miniaturized transwarp drive, small enough to be installed in a single transformer. It would allow near instant teleportation across vast distances. He began planning to donate the device to the Autobot cause concurrent with his pledge to join them. Slipstream worked fast to change his mind, telling him it needed to be tested before being presented to the Autobots. She pleaded with him to be the first test subject, as she had worked long and hard by his side and was the only one who could be trusted with it. Reluctantly he agreed and installed the engine inside of the femme. After a successful test Slipstream’s face twisted into a cruel smile as she produced a gun and executed the scientist. She quickly laid waste to the entire lab, destroying every trace of his work, cackling the entire time. She then transformed and flew away, bound for her Decepticon contact where she would pledge herself and her new ability to the Decepticon cause.

Abilities: In both jet and robot modes Slipstream is armed with two standard arm mounted laser cannons. In jet mode she is also equipped with twin heat seeking missiles. She is a highly skilled, acrobatic and swift aerial combatant, capable of reaching escape velocity from a planet. Her most powerful ability is her built in experimental transwarp engine. The engine allows her to essentially teleport from one place to another nearly instantaneously. The ability can be used to teleport short distances, like behind and opponent, or distances as great as from one star system to another. The ability is highly fuel intensive. Repeat usage or transwarping great distances can rapidly deplete her energy reserves. Slipstream requires precise coordinates, a detailed map or schematic for transwarping to any place she can not directly see or she risks becoming lodged inside of something. She can use the engine in either mode. Typically she will use it to jump into a mapped out enemy base or position to gain further information, conduct some elaborate sabotage or simply shoot the place up, and then jump out before anyone knew she was there.

Weaknesses: Slipstream is not a terribly powerful opponent in hand to hand combat, not being very strong or tough. When found in melee battle she will either retreat or rely on assistance of a cultivated ally. Use of her transwarp engine can rapidly deplete her fuel reserves.
