There will have to be a certain number of completed battles before Ill actually add a players score to the league positions, someone who wins 1 battle and then decides to try and retire as champion is in for a nasty shock.

Just as long as you had it covered. Probably should be stated though because you know someone it going to bitch and moan about it if it isn't up front in the rules if they try it.

Clarification announcement
Recording losses

Im sorry for the confusion here guys, this is as much a learning experience for Burn and I as if is fun for you lot. Weve never done anything like this and to the scoring wil eb a bit hit-and-miss til we can refine something.

After a bit of thought and experimentation, and although it may be a bit late, im going to have to ask all of you to record your loses as well.

I appreciate some of you have not bothered so far (who wants to record a loss eh?) but it be able to score this fairly thats the way its gonna have to be to be able to do this fairly. Remember - We will be able to tell how many losses you have had from everyone elses results against you so no cheating and leaving them off!

Those of you who cannot get the logs anymore, please list the loss as an unknown battle (or the winning commaders name if you remeber it) and we will chack the amounts against you opponenets wins over you.

Sorry again for the confusion.

How often are we supposed to report our scorecard in the "The Smelting Pool league entry and scorecard" forum? Daily? Weekly? At the end of the season? I am keeping accurate records, but my bot has been in so many battles I don't want to flood that forum with a bunch of noise.

When exactly is the end of the season?

Really you should keep your post in the scoring thread as up to date as you can, just for the sake of other players and the judges if they decide to do any checking.

As far as I am aware the season has no set end date, as that is dependant on the release of V2.

Don't worry about flooding with your results, as you should only be editing your existing post. the only way to flood that thread is if you make a needless post there.
