So GameCube games are rare now?

Wow, I was a little surprised to learn about this. Several years ago; around Spring of 2005, I sold a bundle of PS2, Gameboy Advance, and GameCube games to a local CD shop. Two of these games included Super Mario Sunshine and Legend of Zelda Wind Waker.

Well, I've been thinking recently that I'd like to play through these two games again; but the prices for them are a bit steep. It looks like a complete Wind Waker goes for about $80; Mario Sunshine anywhere from $50-100. I remember when I sold these titles, the CD shop had tons of copies of these games and they really didn't pay me much for them. Guess I should have just hung on to them. :MARIO:

Has anyone else had this regret; GameCube or otherwise? I've been collecting video games for almost 25 years now, starting with buying NES games in the mid-90s, and I never would have thought that a system that's only 10 years old would have become such a collector's item.

Wow, where is that store? Or is it EBay?

I can tell you that the prices of used GameCube games here are middle-high, depending on the game. One store chain has used games from less than €10 or $13 to about €30 or $40 for the more popular or rare games, give or take.

I'm guessing with the Wii U not accepting GameCube games anymore, people who have traded in their Wii for a Wii U looking for GameCubes now.

The prices I'm looking at are Ebay and Amazon. I live in a small town now so I can't check to see what local stores are selling used GameCube games for. The prices you mentioned sound about what I'm looking for; $10-20 in US dollars is all I'm going to spend. You're probably right about the Wii U, so maybe checking some local used video game stores or pawn shops next time I travel is the way to go.

oh, just for the money-I haven't touched that cube for so long, and we could use any and all money for our upcoming wedding. If I sell, it just seems like a good time if the prices are up.
