Lately theres been so little work for me to do at my job that they've had to force me to take unpaid days off. So I've been selling some higher priced items to try and cover bills and expenses. Currently I've got my original Xbox on ebay.

Just wanted to throw it out there for anyone wanting to pick one up for cheap to play games their 360 doesn't support yet.

"Current bid: US $10.50"
Oh yeah, you might be able to buy some candy for that. Don't spend it all in one place :P

It'll pay my Best Buy bill for an extra month. That's something I spose. Though the auction has only been up for about 6 hours now.

Wow. I got almost nothing for this system. Knew I should have sold it before the Eilte was released.

Two rules to selling Last-Gen Systems:

1. Sell it only to supplement the money you intend to spend on something, given you won't get much. Which leads into #2:

2. Sell it in large amounts. If you have a Wii and a Gamecube, ditch the Cube, but save the controllers, memory card, and whatever games you still want. And anything else you know you won't play anymore, sell that as well. $20 for an Xbox suddenly seems a lot better when there's also $20 for a PS2, $20 for a Gamecube and however many for whatever games or peripherals you sell.

This was the last system I had to sell. Before the elite came out the original xbox was going for around $170 on ebay. Now they're going for around $100 like mine. **** I sold my PSP for $180 and my PS2 for $200.

Also. This wasn't to help me get another system. It was for me to pay my car payment. Yeah this won't cover it.
