Nope, they said, and I quote
"
Without fail, they take us out of the action on the drop of a dime, they aren't funny, and we don't need comic relief like this anyway when we've got street-smart little robots to entertain us. Yes, they're back too, but let's just say they're toned down. [Hey, everyone. Just to be 100 percent clear, I'm not referring about the "The Twins" here; they are most definitely not in this film. I'm talking about Wheelie (Tom Kenny, who also voiced Skids in REVENGE OF THE FALLEN) and other similar smaller robots, who act like streetwise teenagers.]"
It can be found
here, at the 11th paragraph towards the end (you'll see something about Wheelie)
I believe that quote was edited after it was originally posted. The "Hey everyone" part was added after the review was posted.
Yes, the point is still driven that they aren't in the movie, according to this guy.
So is Bay and Paramount.
My point is that when this review came out this guy stated the Twins were in the film. Skids and Mudflap are the ONLY twins. He is full of BS when he says he was talking about Wheelie and Brains or who-ever. The author of the review edited his posted when The Bay/Nelson crew came crashing down on him.

Where is he talking about "Twins" besides in the disclaimer? He says "Street-Smart Little Robots," which could be an anonymous amount.

This is one of those times where I think it really isn't worth arguing over whether they're in the movie or not. Someone says one thing, than someone else says another, then something else suggests otherwise...
we'll just have to wait and see.
THANK YOU HASBRO! You listened to my begging. Ultra Magnus lives again.

Bingo! That's my point. He edited his post from what it originally stated which was The Twins. I don't know if they are in the movie or not. Frankly, I don't care anymore. But, I wouldn't use this quote to defend or object to anyone's opinions since it has been edited from what it originally said.

He said there was no need for the twins because of the presence of other bots, (namely Wheelie and Brains). The way I read it he was referring to the latter when he said "they're back...but toned down". At no point did I ever think he meant the twins were in DOTM. I guess it all depends on how you interpret it.

Ah, nevermind. The original quote is long gone anyway so if you didn't read this when it was originally news'd, you wouldn't understand.
I'll be happy with the movie if all of the new 'bots and 'cons get half of the characterization that the Twins received in the last movie before they get killed.

Just put it simply..at least there must be a short epilogue of what happens to some of the previous autobots i.e arcee sisters & the twins..Bay couldnt have just wrote them off the script just like that..but he's the director anyway, who r we to say.....
Anyway I hope Bay dont screw up this third TF instalment badly coz if he did I pray Shockwave would come to live bends Bay over & shoot him with those wicked looking blaster where the sun dont shine
