So- who's seen Hot Fuzz?

Saw it this evening- hysterical. Consistantly more amusing than Shaun of the Dead (Which looses its funny side once it reaches the final act. Note that this is not a flaw!) though lacking in the more human and heartfelt drive of the previous movie.

Comparing the two, however, is cruel, as the makers did intend for them to be completely different. I found it extremely enjoyable myself- I urge those with a sense of humour to see it.

I saw it last night and thought it was great - as you'd expect from Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg there were loads of little references that not everyone would get, and I found myself laughing almost the entire time. I still prefer Shaun, but that's mostly because I <3 zombies.

When I read the topic I couldn't help but think of "Hot Fudge" but that was a Sesame Street on acid from the late 70's.

Yeah saw it last nite, absolutely brilliant! I'm still undecided about which I prefer though, it or Shaun. anyone else notice the Shaun easter egg in it?

Hmm, I've never heard of this movie before. I didn't like Shaun of the Dead much, but I love Spaced and Big Train so I'm interested in anything Simon Pegg is involved in. I shall have to look into this!

Saw it yesterday, it was great. Not sure if a US audience would really 'get it' though.
'By the power of Greyskull!'

Yeah, that's part of my everyday vocabulary now haha.

I noticed Shaun of the Dead in the DVD bargain bin in the supermarket at the start, and the Cornetto thing.

The thing that kind of pisses me off, is that the movie won't come out in the states until April 20th.

I need to see this movie. Shaun of the Dead was awesome.

Bad Boys 2 has nothing on this movie.

Sheer brilliance. Long may Wright and Pegg (and Frost!) be the dons of British comedy movies.

Everyhting that was funny about Spaced and Shaun of the Dead in one movie of non stop hysteria.

I love being British, we make the funniest movies.

i saw it on thursday night and it was fantastic! i thought it was possibly funnier than shaun of the dead.

also you've mentioned the cornetto and dvd dump bin references but what about the "shortcut" and the the fact the old woman who ran the shop is the old woman in the pub, im gonna keep this post a PG by saying she was the "caffe ola" woman.

anybody in the uk who hasnt seen this yet had better go see this and anybody living where it hasnt been released yet, its worth the wait.
