Rosie Huntington-Whitely is a model and not an actress, but for her first try, she succeeded. She has genuine talent.

I admit I have bias towards Megan Fox, however, my dislike of her is not enough to say she's ruined the experience for me. Even I can rise above it and give her some credit. You can't even do that for Rosie.

She's 10 times the actress and eye candy that Megan Fox is. Why? Because there's some intelligence behind the pretty face.

i love that you accuse the other poster of bias, then produce a supremely biased post.

I'm glad that someone posted this topic. It hit me when I watched the movie again and caught the scene where Sentinel orders the Decepticons to launch the pillars. First of all, the line deserved a more dramatic delivery regardless of who said it. Mainly, though- that should have been Megatron's line, not Sentinel's. I don't care how weakened Megatron was...the Megs I "know" would never have let an Autobot, even an Autobot defector, give orders to his men. As he said, the leader of the Decepticons was always him.

As far as Megan Fox - meh. Don't care one way or the other. I liked Carly a lot, though...she fit in better with Dylan than Mikaela would have.

they said a new villian was shockwave to me it seemed more like sentinel was the villian don't get me wrong shockwave was good an yea the way they did away with megatron was wrong I think what they should of done was have one of the decepticons kill megan fox at the start or soon after in the movie...like megatron or starscream

Mikaela chopped off Frenzy's head, got into the car with Sam, "I drive, you shoot!' ring a bell? She stopped Wheelie from getting the Allspark shard and killed Alice/stopped her from capturing Sam.

Also, Rosie with her pouty lips was crap compared to Megan. And eye candy? I... really don't give a damn about that. I really don't.

What did Carly do? Get captured, and give a talk to Megatron, who at that point a dog barking would've spurred him into the same actions.

So, maybe a bit of bias, but also a lot of fact there too. Mikaela was a better character than Carly and her leaving Sam after everything they went through made negative sense. Yes, that's right. Negative sense.

I agree with the start of this post. I hated the way they basically got rid of Mikaela. WTH same and her were in LOVE at the end of ROTF and now she's just gone...ok what a crock! Although I did like the new girl...way hotter btw and better actress IMHO.

I also totally didn't like the way Megatron helped OP kill Sentinel and then OP rips his head off. I know that OP saw an opportunity to end the war..again..but still. It would've made more sense for the younger viewers especially, to have them both go their separate ways after defeating their common enemy. At the very least, OP vs Megs should've taken a lot longer considering OPs condition at the time...incidentally I hated the very short battle between OP and the Fallen...way too short...OP wooped his azz

Maybe just the huge fanboy in me, but I really wished that the Decepticons would've essentially won in either ROTF or DOTM so they autobots would've had an even more dramatic challenge the next time out....ie Empire Strikes Back...Lucas knew what he was doing.

well i thought rosie was beyond poor, i dont think megan is a great actress, but good enough for an action movie, rosie was worse in every way imo.

She didnt fit well with sam, she couldnt act, as for eye candy, well imo megan is much better.

An it aint just bias, me an my mates took our partners (who like the films but dislike TF in general), they both thought rosie was pretty dire. but again i dare say i disagree with the main populous so i'll be classed as wrong in something thats about opinions

But after reading the comments you guys wrote, I started to see there is a possibilty they are supposed to hint Megatron is tired of the war.

Megatron showed that he cared for the hatchlings during his introduction, feeding them.
This may meant to show that he is concern for his species.

Megatron didn't got involved in battle at all(except the last part), instead he just sits by the corner like a warrior who is tired of all of this, all this war.

Sentinel Prime pretty much took charge in everything after the space bridge activation. Megatron did not even bother to fight for control(I only watched once, I may missed something). Megatron only attack SP after Carly influenced him excessively.

And of course, I noticed a different look on Megatron's face when he looked up at Cybertron. He has a sincere look of care, relieved that it is safe.

Perhaps, like you guys mentioned, the novel is based on screenplay, the movie followed a bit of it, but changed the last part, due to technical issues.

I'll be honest, I didn't hear the truce part, but I sympathize Megatron's character, not as a villian, but as a long time rival of Optimus. This last movie should do the duo fight more justice. Give a last epic fight. Megatron is still injured as many considered, but so is Optimus at the time. No matter how superior Optimus training is all the years with NEST, he's injured with one arm, Megatron should have a fighting chance. Decepticon or not, he deserved, WE deserved an epic finish to the rivalry that started a long time ago. Not a less than 10 seconds "fight".
