Star Trek Micro Machines - Completed Collection

It took me a while to track all these guys down. I had a few from my childhood, but like most small things they were lost over time. Well with the power of nostalgia and the Internet, I decided to start tracking them all down once more. Life was easier when I found out there were three collectors set that contained them all. Set 1 was dirt cheap, set 2 was pricey, set 3 was OMG I DON'T WANT TO PAY THAT! Eventually though after much ebay camping, I found one that was of a decent price, so it ended up on my shelf a couple weeks later.

It was then that I compared my new-found collection to a checklist. turns out there were three ships that were released in the line that were NOT added to the Collector's Sets. The worse news is that eBay also knew this. Where the average single ship was 5-30 dollars on ebay depending on if it bore the name Enterprise or not, these three went for 60+! Eventually during a lull in my TF purchases, I snagged all 3 of them and the arrived yesterday!

Allow me to introduce to you my Star Trek Micro Machines! There are a couple varient I didn't feel the need to track down, but all the molds are here! I've now started on the Star Wars MMs, which is proving to be a different beast to track down completely, but I'm a patient and persistent MoFo, so I'll add more pics when I have all them.

Nice!

Personally, I'm missing the second DS9 set, and all of the Voyager sets. I do have like 95% of the Star Wars sets though. Now, if only I could afford the Babylon 5 sets...
