I found out that a friends of mine wich i have a long crush on, is lesbian. she does not know that i know about that. I am extremly pissed off, but i cannot blame her for chossing that option. should i talk to her?

Why exactly are you PO'd? Is it because now you know she will never have any feelings in return for you, or is it because you are against homosexuality?

I'm guessing that its cause she won't return the feelings, but hey, maybe she'll invite you out with her new grilfriend when she gets one?

In the future, don't call it a choice. I'm not even sure you should call it a lifestyle. Technically, we're still not sure what it is, or how to explain it any better than it just is.

You have every right to be angry, because that's your emotion and you're entitled to it. However, being angry because she's Lesbian is the wrong way to look at it.

Do you honestly think she woke up one day and said "I want to be Lesbian? I want to be cast aside by the public and ridiculed for being who I am?" If so, then you're in serious need of a correction.

I'm not sure why she's Lesbian, I'm not saying I support it, or if I'm for or against it, all I'm saying is, it is what it is.

If you can't deal with that, then that's on you. Perhaps you should talk to her, lay it all out on the table and see what happens then. If you care enough about her, you'll stick around and be her friend, eventhough she's Homosexual, because you're her friend and care enough that you want her to be happy. Or you can't handle it, and the crush was driven by a purely physical base, which means you should leave the situation because it won't change and you were only there for one thing anyway.

If you truly love someone, you want them to be happy, sometimes even if that happiness doesn't involve you.

This is what makes us human.

i´m not against homosexxuals. I was just angry because i realized that no matter how i try and change fisicaly and psicologcy, she will never return my feelings.

But i will never leave her as a friend. She was always there for me. It would be unfair if won´t be there for her when she needs it. She my friend first and major crush later. That´s all i care about now.

So she is a lesbian..... maybe perhaps she turned that way to forget that one guy she loved did something terrible to her, etc. Usually women turn lesbian after something like that. Maybe she was ashame of beeing one, and thats why she hasnt told you, or perhaps she knew how you feel toward her, and didnt wanted to hurt your feelings by teeling you about it.And sometimes lesbians do tend to turn back to heterosexualism as well. Be her friend cause she still needs you as a friend.And foremost you shouldnt be mad at her.

In respnse to the question,

Its okay to feel hurt becuase of this its no different than having a friend who you know will never return your feelings who is straight. Its always a sticky situation when friends have feeling for each other. At least you can look at it this way, if you did start to date and then broke up you could have possibly ruined your friendship and a life-long friendship is more valueable than a short-term girlfriend.

Yes, I DO think she woke up one day and wanted to try something different. People do it all the time. I chose to have a different cereal today, or drive a different way to work this morning are good examples.

Until their is replicatable, undeniable, scientific proff that one is "born" this way, or their is a supposed "gay gene", I suspend belief.

Homosexuality is a choice, people in Austin chose it every day.

But don't just claim that they did not chose it, because they did. Just as I chose to be ridiculed for collecting children's toys.

Actually, everyone I know loves my TFs, but in high school I was ridiculed for it.

I think you might be the one in need of wsome correction for making assumptions, not even backed up with verifyable scientific facts. Check yourself please.

Homelessjunkeon, I have some friends who could cure this "straight" situation. Heterosexuality is a choice, and at any time, you could decide to feel attracted to men instead. Remember, there is help.

If we lived in a world in which sexuality were no big deal, offers to cure someone of a sexuality that excluded you could feel like playful flirting. But we live in a world where people really have and sometimes still do try to cure gays and lesbians through very disturbing means.

Does it even matter.I love and care for all my friends no matter what.My gays mates are the bestest people I know.Iam a member of a local social group called GV Pride and have lots of fun. Im sure if you told her, she would be flattered at the very least, but knows that she doesn't like you (did I say that right?) At least you have a good friendship with her, that can be hard for anyone to find a good friend now days.

In my opinion, having the inclination to be attracted to other females or other males does not make one gay. Choosing to follow that inclination into a real homosexual relationship makes a person gay. There are people who actually for one reason or another will choose to resist that inclination. A person can find they have those feelings, but will not always automatically set out to find a gay relationship. I am not saying that the girl will want to have a male/female relationship, but she will not automatically jump into a female/female relationship either. She may end up choosing to be celebate instead.

It's interesting that you profess an interest in Asian women. Why asian women? Did you choose to feel that asian women are more attractive than, for example, black women?

I see what you did there.

It comes down to experience. I have dated all kinds, and it seems to me that Western women are demanding, expecting a $400K house, $10K ring, a baby, etc. The Asian women I have been with are more real, and less materialistic. They love me for who I am, not what I have or what I can buy for them. This makes me WANT to buy things for them as a result--kind of ironic. Also, my success rate is higher with Asian (especially Japanese) women, they don't nag, they tend to eat healthier, look better longer, etc.

I CHOSE to like Asian women, becuase if you asked me when I was 16, I though blone hair/blue eyes was the most ace female form.

But surely you're not attracted to every Asian female? Why are you attracted to some but not others? People don't choose what they're attracted to; it's personal instinct. This is the same for sexuality.

I never said I was not attracted to blondes anymore. I just have a preference for Asian women. So much so that I only go out with Asian women now.

Again, a choice.

Also a little personal anecdote, I had no problem being attracted to a hot blonde runner I met at work a month or so ago.

I didn't say you weren't attracted to blondes anymore. I said you must be more attracted to some women than others. Why would that be? Do you choose what you're attracted to? Why do you prefer Asian Woman A over Asian Woman B?
