So, I've dubbed Saturdays "Suggestion Saturdays." I need ideas on which figures I should get next. There are way too many Transformers out there, so I'm kind of at a loss. You can read more about the idea on my blog. I'm itchin to get another figure, but which one!!!??

Yup, this. Are we talking about current product only or what? I just opened and fiddled with Encore Metroplex and Omega Supreme last weekend and they're both pretty darn cool. Metroplex is probably the far better value though.

Combiner awesomeness

Been unpacking cleaning and setting up all my original G1 stuff.

Assembled all the ones I have except for Devestator(till i fix a part).

U need a combiner, with all the PCC garbage out there u need some G1 combiner goodness in your collection, pick one and go for it.

I read the blog and it looks like a fun project; it's a bit like my own G1 collecting: pretty randomly getting the coolest ones first, although I'm not keeping a blog.

Like other's hereI'd also suggest Sixshot as a very cool G1 TF. And of course the G1 combiners are excellent, although I like the vehicle-based ones better than the creature-based combiners.

Drift is G1 since he's been a recurring character in IDW's G1 ongoing. I know he's only got the Classics toy but he's still a G1 character to me.

If you don't have him already, Soundwave. Blitzwing is also good. And are you getting originals only? I think you were, IIRC... well if not, the purple Reissue Galvatron is pretty awesome.

Well Geez! I should have checked back here sooner! I was only really checking my blog and like only 2 suggestions were left. I come here and I have a plethora! Well, you just got a vote for Metroplex.

There are too many good figures to choose from. And there are too many good lines to choose from also. Are you completely set on G1? It is honestly not my favorite line....

As far as G1 goes, I would have to say Hound. Then Mirage.

I just finished up with buying a complete Construction set for my G1 collection plus i have Crazydevy parts coming as well. Also, just finished building Abominus and Bruticus for my G1 decepticon army. The Terrorcons are highly recommended as well with Metroplex, and plus im working on building the Technobots to get Computron completed and all i need is Lightspeed for the completion.
