I've asked around on the boards to no avail, and decided to try the full scale question with a thread. So, as the title says: "Where can I find those kits?!"

I've wondered this myself. Some Japanese retailers will open preorders and you can go that route, or you can use a legitimate and reliable middleman service. Unfortunately, I can't think of the name of the middlemen right now, I've yet to use one, so I haven't memorized them.

Also, Chinese (specifically Hong Kong) sellers on eBay carry them. They're listed under both Candy Toy and Minipla.

Hmm. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming you're a minor? If so, they'll have to work directly with her. They won't deal with minors. Too many loopholes and restrictions.

If I'm wrong on the age issue, or even if I'm right, have you thought about a prepaid debit card? For a small monthly service fee and a separate reloading fee, you'll have access to almost every service, plus more control. No worries about overdrafts.

Yeah I'm thirteen. I would get one of those cards, but again, everything I do goes through my mom. And she is a control freak

(I can't even add something to the cart without her questioning it)

I've been there, but believe me when I say she only does it because she loves you. If one person could financially destroy her, it could hurt the family's well being. There are horror stories of how people had their identities stolen, their savings, etc. All over simple transactions. Not to mention, things like the TFCC incidents, or TFSource.

You'll look back on these days and laugh. Hard to say that now, I know.

Trust me we know, my parents got their indentity stolen a while back, but we got our money back and whatnot

Be patient with her. If she sees enough good transactions, she'll ease up a bit.
I'd help you, if I could, but I know nothing of these middlemen, other than what I've read.
