With the Pub and Bob thing - Taito is now owned by SquareEnix.

If anything SquareEnix owns is going to appear in Brawl, I'd be more up for Hero of Dragon Quest I (or his ancestor, Erdrick). He is, after all, the first in line of J-RPG heroes.

Pub and Bob would be nice, though. Or maybe the guy from Rainbow Islands (Pub or Bob after having the curse removed).

They'd have to go through Disney first, and that's no easy feat. Square can't even use characters from Kingdom Hearts like Sora or Riku in Dissidia without going through Disney first, because they're technically Disney characters. In any case, Mickey doesn't qualify. Every character started as a video game character (or in ROB's case, a video game accessory) but Mickey was a cartoon character decades before video games even existed.

Yeah, I don't see ANY character who isn't actually from a video game series that regularly appears on nintendo consoles. Sora would be likelier due to the fact that he mainly appears in games, plus a few Kingdom Hearts games were on the GBA/DS, but I really wouldn't want to see him join anyway, so I'm kinda glad it would be hard to get ahold of him. Another character to add might be King K. Rool from the Donkey Kong games.
