What makes this version 'super'? I haven't seen a list of new features yet. Mainly hoping they remember to turn down the cheap factor on Seth's boss battle.

I usually don't buy fighting games, but I plan on picking this one up. What I've seen so far has been amazing, except for that one new character that covers himself in oil.

The last fighting game I bought was Soulcaliber IY, and that was traded in after about two weeks. I used to play Super Street Fighter II back in the day so I'm hoping this will be as fun as the older games.

I almost picked up the regular version of Street Fighter IV, but as the condition with mosst Street Fighter games, I knew a updated version would be coming out in the near future.

The fact that Sagat got nerfed forced me to switch to Bruce Lee Fei Long for Super Street Fighter IV.

Also, this will get an arcade version: http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2010/apr/ ... announced/

LoL! You went from a character with over-powering balance issues who had a readjustment to his damage to a low-tier basement dweller who just isn't very good at all?

Not hating, just sayin'...

Anyway, I'm going to be up for this on PSN the day it comes out. Friend me at Daidoji_Kage

I will add u CP, lets have a good fight.... Provided i am not sleeping when you are playing

According to the developer, Sagat & Ryu will still be the top 1 or 2. Just the gap is much closer now....
I heard the new boxer - Dudley is at Sagat/Ryu level.... Scary....

Next week, the developer will talk about Abel and Gouken, i cant wait....

I almost have more interest in this than the game itself.

Well, now that you called me out of it, I'm just considering it; I just need to know how badly the nerfing was. After all, according to the Chinese, this is the year of the TIGER!

Also, now that you mentioned the fact that Bruce Lee Fei Long is low-tier, I might as well stick to Sagat and study him again.

I would hate to resurrect a dead thread, but I am a little late to the party on this one....

I finally got a PS3 when WFC came out and just recently picked up Super Street Fighter IV after I received a second controller for Christmas. I'm assuming people still play this game?

I'm not sure I'll ever have the time/skill to play on line, but was hoping for some discussion so that I could get 'up-to-speed'. I haven't played since I got Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition on my Sega Genesis way back in the day....

So far I am really thrilled with this game - I love my old 16bit cartridge and I think I remember CP being really pleased with SSF4 came out a while back and writing a review of sorts. I've done some reading on ign since they have a guide of sorts. I'm starting with my old favs like Blanka, etc. I'm looking at maybe Ibuki and Goukan next?
