T4 and some new toys? Anyone else excited about THIS possibility?

So with the new movie on the horizon (albeit, distant horizon), is anyone else excited about some new figures/characters that'll be coming out? Prob some nice deluxe sized ones.

I is. :)

I'm not excited about anything movie related. Bought most figures from the first movie and was mostly underwhelmed (except for leader(?) Brawl).

Never bothered with the toys from movies 2 and 3 because of this.

The movie and related toy line would have to be VERY different (better) from the previous three for me to get remotely interested let alone excited.

I'm certainly looking forward to it. :) I quite enjoy the movie aesthetic, particularly because it's different.

That desire is of course why I have completed my seeker trio, lol. I've got Classics Screamer (and I'm not a particular fan of the Classics mold, so I may very well replace it at some point if something better comes along, or if I get Energon G1 color Starscream), 07 Voyager Thundercracker aaaand no Skywarp. :( Here's to hoping they do the FoC mold as Skywarp!

I dunno, personally....the kid in me still gets excited for the 30 second cameo of a figure, and then the subsequent toy store search for the figure.

I'm happy we get to do that again with another film.

I sold the majority of my movie toys from my collection; aesthetically I just couldn't stand them anymore. Don't think I'd bother getting into it again unless there are some really nice designs or there's a call to arms for my Blurr toy completionism.

I'm keeping an open mind about TF4 toys...as long as there's a leader class toy of the main villain being made. And for gosh's sakes, no more giant Bumblebees!

I love the aesthetic but I only bought about five toys from DotM so I don't have high hopes. Having said that, another year and half can bring many changes so maybe they'll give us some good ones. Hopefully the BumbleBubble will have burst by then.

I tried my best to get into the movie toy line. I bought some from all 3 movies. I just wound up selling just about every one of them. The only ones I have left are the Walmart exclusives DOTM Bumblebee and Sideswipe. I'm not gonna say yay or nay, though, until I see what they look like, but I don't have high hopes..... :-(

Consider this: if it's true that TF4 will have an all-new cast, we may actually get a line of toys with NO BUMBLEBEE!

Instead, it will be 15 different variations of Cliffjumper using the 'Bee mode.

It boggles the mind to think about a whole new line of even smaller, thinner, more hollow figures with less paint apps for much more money - based on the M. Bay aesthetic. Yay!

I think my FOC Bruticus in combined mode weighs less than my RTS Jazz.

The voyagers are now oversized deluxes and the deluxes have become oversized legends....while prices increase dramatically.

It'll be Hot Rod instead. =_=

I like the movie aesthetic- not as much as the classics or TFPrime aesthetic, but I am quite looking forward to what they will do with TF4

Seeing a movie line compromise the entire lineup of TF figures for any length of time has always been the greatest bane of my existence, and I pray to Primus almighty that if there is a new toyline that it will die as fast as it gets off the ground

Only if Blackout comes back to life, and get's a Leader class figure.
Along with Bone Crusher.

otherwise MEH, probably just walk away with the leaderclass figures, if there is any.

Not really. My movie toys kept shrinking. Only if there will be really cool cars available in HA line (such as ................... the never appeared red Ferrari whoever), then I will consider. Or somebody who is in movie line but pretty much belongs to the classics (like Bludgeon), then I will consider also.
