It is not a threat. You were told by mods to leave me alone and you obviously posted something stating that you question my credibility. Yet I have several news credits on this board and others and have given people no reason to question my credibility.

I am lead to believe this is going to be a MASS release figure at some point as the seller I got it from deals in factory samples.

Hopefully everyone else will have a chance to get this figure at some point. I consider myself lucky to even been able to acquire the item.

Oh wow. You got that Target leadfoot too? I saw the prototype black henkei prime once... in 2008. It was $40US... should have picked it... That was back when leaked factory samples were everywhere...

Yeah my Holy Trinity of Cancelled / Proto figures will be Ultra Magnus Henkei , Proto Nemesis Prime and , Target Exclusive Leadfoot Deluxe.

The only other Proto / Unreleased figure I am after is the Blue Henkei Bumblebee which hopefully will pop up somewhere again.

That's enough. No more arguing.

It wouldn't (couldn't) be a Henkei release though, and that's why I questioned it.

If it were released by Takara today (or in the future), it would be under the United (or whatever they choose to call it next ) line.

That would be cool if they did. There's still more than a few CC upgrade sets around for reasonable prices.

yeah I'd probably pay Takara Tomy Voyager prices for this. It looks a bit better than the Classics one to me, and would cost about the same. Getting a City Commander is a hell of a lot easier than getting a UM to wear the bloody things.

Yep, and all the better if this isn't a Japanese store exclusive. The US release was a TrU exclusive and came with a certain seeker that made the pack so desirable that they're really hard to find now (especially thanks to CC of course).

If Takara does a mass release in the United line, they win. I wouldn't put it past them as I believe Protector was the reason they reissued Henkei Hot Rod/Rodimus.

at the time the original pack warmed shelves like nobody's business hereabouts. they went to less than half off IIRC here, because at the time it looked like there was no Thundercracker coming, and it was just a white Optimus Prime.

Here is a pic of my Leadfoot with the Soundwave and Wheeljack Hasbro Deluxes. I had set out as a goal to have them at some point any way possible and I am glad I was able to accomplish it.





Now if only someone has a Blue Henkei Bumblebee for sale......

The hasbro Deluxe Soundwave and Wheeljack were never "rare" in that sense. They were at mass retail in Asia... I got Soundwave... Que was not yet in stock when I felt like getting him, and I passed after he came in... I think I'm done with movie.

Honestly, I look at it and it seems kinda ... plain. I like the chrome of course, and the face if it had red eyes, but in this case I'd have chosen the Hasbro version anyway.

The consensus is that we have no idea. The only person who is REALLY rallying for it being real is Primeultimus. Everyone else is waiting on pictures and some in-hand talk. However, if what Primeultimus says is true, and this fellow he's buying it from regularly deals in pre-release products, then it may very well be legit.

Nice figure. Don't care about the what's and if's.

I have the Hasbro version, so I personally couldn't care less. But it would be interesting to see these pics.....I'll keep this thread in arm's reach
