Painted = fake, especially if the plastic is actually blue.

I have serious doubts about PrimeUltimus' credibility on anything.

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:We're not questioning you as a person, but rather the authenticity of the item itself, for a few reasons:
1) A Henkei Ultra Magnus was never announced, or alluded to by TakaraTomy.
2) It would have been released during 2008-2009, during which a prototype or even a test shot was never leaked. To have one pop up now is a bit suspect.
3) See my first post. Put short, it has too many similarities with the Hasbro version, something that's not done between Classics and Henkei. I'm aiming at the silver lines and the shade and placing of the yellow highlights.
4) The legs are the biggest offenders for me. I did some checking on other versions of the mold, and the leg panel are attached to a clear plastic hinge on every single version, same color as the windows. Yet this version has solid hinges.
It is still highly probably it's a fake, but I'll let you make the final conclusion.
