Takara Tomy Masterpiece MP-13 Soundwave and Minions

Takara Tomy designer Shogo Hasui has tweeted an image of Masterpiece Soundwave and company! MP-13 Soundwave with Laserbeak is scheduled to release in December. The rest of the cassettes, MP-15 Rumble & Ravage and MP-16 Frenzy & Buzzsaw, are slated for March 2013. Check out Soundwave and his crew below.

Definitely made the right decision when I passed on MP-10! With the money I saved, I can get MP Soundwave and the MP cassettes! :grin:

This sucker cannot come out in the US quickly enough! He looks awesome, and his minions look fantastic, too.

Wish I could avoid buying Buzzsaw, though. I want Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage and Laserbeak, but Buzzsaw is one of those characters who barely existed. Oh, well. His colors look good, at least. They're getting the most out of the mold. Can't say I blame 'em. At least we're getting Ravage, even though he can't really be repainted.

Ravage can totally be repainted. first off there's Howlback, an e-hobby exclusive with Garboil. Next there's Stripes that came with the encore Twincast. You could also do Glit that was in that 3 pack with Sundor and Rosanna. Finally SG Ravage. That molds has more repaints than the Rumble mold!

Looks great, but cartoon wise the cassettes are a bit too small. Im would like too see how the cassettes fit in with classics. Are they scout sized ???
