I think that Unicrons combining gimmick is awesome looking but with Optimus!!!!!!!!:shock: ...really...that doesn`t make any sense since Unicron is an enemy of Prime not a helper. Why did they put prime with him when really it should be Megatron because he`s evil and would make more sense but then again it would make even more sense if Unicron was on his own.

You act like there would be some sort of teamwork involved in this. FYI, Unicron's no team player. He'd be one in the driver's seat, possessing the Nemesis unit and turning it against its creators. Nemesis is a non-living entity. Unicron could easily turn it into one of his own minions just as he does to other lesser beings. Plus, this Gaia Unicron toy does not represent Unicron himself, but one of his dirt-based avatars. In a sense, Unicron would be using a puppet controlling another puppet since he no longer possesses a corporeal form of his own. Unicron is the ultimate puppet master who takes what isn't his and twists and taints it into something ugly for his own gain. So what if he hate humans? He hate Primus' children (the Transformers, which include the Decepticons) yet still uses them just like he would use Nemesis.

But Unicron would be forced to use a, lets call NP a thing, of human design. The fact is, Unicron would never use the tools of lesser creatures. Also, why on earth would he NEED to. He can create a dozen hundred foot dirt avatars of himself. Combining with a human machine would be pointless. Combining with ANYTHING would be pointless, but especially a machine of human design. Also, while Unicron may hate all Cybertronians, he holds a special hatred for "Primes". You saw how he reacted to finding out Optimus Prime was still alive.

At full power, yes, but Unicron just got beaten to a pulp. He won't be doing ANYTHING without some sort of help for some time.

But, suppose he wanted a herald to do his dirty work for him while he's in his dormant state post-season 1. And suppose, at this point, he wasn't picky and, through some means, got a hold of the Nemesis unit and created a living herald from it. Then he'd make it so this new minion of his could power up with the assistance of any of his dirt avatars when necessary.

All the more reason to twist and corrupt the image of a Prime into a hideous abomination that defies and insults the very nature of a Prime. See Universe Nemesis Prime for this kind of corruption.

I'll probably get yelled at for this but... It's just a toy. If you don't like a gimmick, don't use it. True, story-wise it doesn't make sense, but I don't care.

But that would be beyond ignoring the charicter of Unicron. I can't think of a situation where he would choose to. But even if he DID want to (so unlikely, its impossible), how would he do it? Unicron has been shown to corupt through dark energon, NP hasn't had any exposure to the element. Megatron HAS.

Universe Nemisis Prime wasn't created by humans. If unicron wanted to go that far, he may as well try to corrupt the genuine article.

Look guys I'm sure this will all be explained when it is released. That said I'd like to direct your attention to a little detail.

Gaia Unicron. Not Dark, Lord, Dark Lord, or Dark God Unicron, but Gaia...this implies to me that our lovable giant robo-daddy Unicron may have been "influenced" (in the same way Scourge and Starscream in the past have been) by the Matrix. Possibly he goes good temporarily due to being forcibly turned good by the Matrix (aka Primus and the Primes of the Past).

Then he gets mad goes bad and b**ch slaps Miko into the next dimension and we all rejoice.

How does "Gaia" imply "good"? It just refers to his being inside the Earth and using dirt to create duplicates of himself.

All of hat aside..I'd really just like to see pics of the Unicron figure..I dont care of he combines with a toaster oven, I would like to see what Im payin for before my dern pre order kicks in..naww mean
