Unicron was tempting, but not at this price!

It's REALLY stupid to have these guys marketed as voyages. What a rip off. Couldn't they have been packaged in robot mode?

That makes no sense to me. They're freaking deluxe figures. Are fans paying for a voyager box now?

They wouldn't fit in the deluxe packaging, thus Takara had to bump them up a category. We saw this coming a long ways away, I'm surprised people are surprised.

Didn't Hasbro make them fit in deluxe packaging? I was never interested in these but remember them on a card.

They were and did fit in the card BuT if you compare a deluxe of AEC to a deluxe of today you wil notice that they are more bulky in size. The United packaging was mde with the modern figs in mind.

My friend, I believe we have to agree to disagree on this one. I definitely see the logic behind the move but I say once a deluxe, always a deluxe.

It's pretty funny the only ones boxed have Cyber Planet Keys, maybe that was a deciding factor?

No chance that Hasbro will release these, is there? I've always wanted that Deluxe Unicron, and I'd even consider buying the Thrilla Gorilla repaint and Barneytron.

If Prime and Megatron would have been voyager class, I so would have picked these up....

Pass on all except Optimus i don't have a BW Prime yet so i'll be buying him.

Interesting, Unicron looks more metallic than the original Hasbro version, which makes him look a lot more similar to Amazon Unicron. I would be very interested in purchasing this if it didn't cost $50. As it is, I'll wait and see if it goes on clearance.

Hopefully someone will translate the toy bios of these somewhere down the line. I'm curious to know more about these guys in these United incarnations.

Axalon was the only temptation for me here and I have the deco I wanted for the mold in the Botcon usages of it. I simply do not like the mold enough to pay a premium for a bland deco such as this. Primal and Megatron look primarily the same as the Hasbro versions which I'm pleased enough with. Not gonna double dip. Unicron leaves me cold.
