Ah, but you're missing the real point RoS. You just got a game high score, because he leveled up. He's experiementing, and his leveling up is benefiting you, and any autobot that manages to hit him. In the short term? Yeah, he's not going to be the top scorer in missions. In the long run? He has a head start on upgrades he's going to need anyway if he ever wants to go past level 6 or 7, and he's generating XP for us to level up, and gain XP faster.

Now, I know this is a foreign concept to you, but being selfless, and actually helping your opponent, not only helps the game, but helps you in the long run. N_V going to level 7 to generate XP for the bots, means stronger opponents for him. Our becoming stronger, means more of a challenge for the Cons in general, and means better back up for you. Now, as we level up, based on the XP we gain from hitting people, and those random big gains we make off him, speed up our leveling. As we go up, it gives more XP to the cons for hitting us. They become stronger, and better able to back up N_V. As they get stronger, we get more XP. In the end, it's better for the community.

However, as for your specific argument, in that you outscored him... well, that's to be expected, when you have 3 million more XP than him, and are a lower level. That's kinda like saying "I'm surprised the sun rose! It's only done it every day for the entirety of my life." It does not, however, say a whole lot for you, when someone with 3 million XP than your guy is willing to level up to 7, while you're all "People will be able to beat me. Boo hoo." I can promise you, you'll still be the top guy in the game, and you'll still be able to beat everyone else. *nod*

In the end, I can't force you to level up, any more than I can force you to stop coming across as a self centered person, or you can stop me from coming across as an over opinionated arsewipe. We are what we are. You made up you mind long ago that you simply couldn't level up. Hell, you complained about Ultra Magnus being forced to level up because he was over the level cap following the second round of the SPL. I made up my mind that there's no reason to not level up if you're the king. And you are the king of HMW right now, RoS. Undisputed heavy weight champion.

Hun-Grr is gonn end up gettin deleveled, but I kinda like Swindles build. Granted the 1 point of int is useless, but its not expensive enough to really matter. with the 2-6k xp average i make per mission, i can afford to splurge on stupid investments. its not a lot, and it wouldn't be doin anything else.

i wanna see high levels as soon as possible, so if i have to give away xp to let others level, then i will.

my concern comes down to the fact i'm losing access to the level 4-6 missions, so I wont have multiple opponents with my 7's. but so far (only a few missions) I havent seen any higher level missions generated. meaning theres the 5-7's, 6-9's, and the 1-11's available.

There's 6-9s? It does suck that the 7s don't get access to many cross missions with the rest of us, but it's nice to know that we have a big target for the 1-11 missions. I'll have to join those more often now though, instead of just relying on the 4-5 and 4-6 missions to provide the bulk of my XP.

i kinda wish the 6-9 and 7-10 missions would go away. have 4-6, and 1-10. it may be a little unbalanced at first, but it'd level out

but unfortunately this thread has derailed harder than (culturally relevant train accident), and short of mod splitting this into an actual discussion we should probabbly go back to being boastful braggards

I was bragging, cause I outscored you. Just because you won, and you outleveled me, doesn't make it less brag worthy... right? A mod'll pop up eventually that can split it.

As others level up, those 6-9s and 7-10s will be better pay out missions than the 1-11s are, just gotta be patient. I'll be there asap.

the problem is that means people are gonna have to be around for a long while to make 5+ characters. there are 29 level currently 2 lvl 7's, 7 lvl 6's, 29 lvl 5's, and 158 lvl 4's. so the main issue comes with losing acess to the level 4's. As it is RoS and I have to coordinate just right or we end up getting shafted for a few missions. I take a nap? he's stuk with no opponents in a 6-9 mission. He has (insert something important).. I lose out. When Mkall ever gets some power back it may be worth askin him to take out the top end missions for a lil while just so we can make xp feeders. or atleast tone down the wait time on some of the missions. some of the missions still have like a 30-40 minute join time. could be toned down imho
