Target Exclusives now on clearance

Both Springer/Ratbat & Dirge/Roadbuster comic packs and both Animated exclusive packs have entered the first round of Target clearance pricing (30% off). Target sales are nationwide so chances are your local Target store has marked them down already. These are not available online on Target's web site.

Well I won't groan about buying them full price because you just never know with those things and if you want them, it's best to buy them when you see them...

But I might pick up some of the other sets (besides Springer/Ratbat and Roadbuster/Dirge) just for the hell of it if they go down really cheap (That's why I have Movie Deep Space Starscream)

Target over hear was picked clean so it does me no good unless they decide to restock. But that normally takes about a month.

Usually when an item goes on clearance they don't restock

I visited three Targets in the north metro Denver area. They all have boat loads of them. Too bad I already bought Springer/Ratbat & Roadbuster/Dirge. They are clean out of pretty much everything else. I still can't track down Universe Hound and the G1 Legends.

As of yesterday, they were still full-price at one of my two nearby Targets. I'll check the other one tomorrow.

The 25th Ann. Optimus Prime figs were marked down 30% as well...still a bit overpriced for a G1 re-do, but marked for clearance nonetheless.

Went to Target and Wal Mart, saw the anniversary Prime for 50 bucks at Target, but at Walmart picked up The Bumblebee WalMart exclusive 3 pack for 17 bucks, and a animated Prime/Blackarachnia 2 pack for 9 bucks. They also had Megatron/Prowl 2 packs as well for 9 bucks. A little off topic but Target had Marvel figures that come with Red Hulk pieces down to 7 bucks, originally 15. I mean since you put Red Hulk together like Devestator it kinda counts, right? LOL

I haven't seen anniversary Prime marked down anywhere...But I think $50 is still too much for it...$70 was flat-out rediculous, even with all the extra stuff it comes with...The colours are awful and the short smokestacks suck...

Normally Target will not price match an item you purchased if it goes on "clearance", even if it is within the normal 30 day (or however long Target offers) price guarantee. There is a loophole. When I saw these on sale, I went to the customer service desk with them. Since I purchased these about a month ago I asked if they could price match and was told no because of the above information.

I did not have a receipt, but they were able to look up my purchase because I used a debit card. Since they would not price match, I asked "What if I bought these right now at the sale price, and then I hand them back to you and have them credited as a return of the regular price purchase?" The guy smiled and said I was smart man to have discovered the loophole. I bought, then returned the items and ended up getting the price difference back.

Yea, I found my receipt for that and the GI Joe UBP and plan on picking them up on sale tomorrow and bringing them back in with my original receipt. I don't feel too bad doing it with all the cash I have been dropping there, and it gives me an excuse to "reinvest" in Stormcloud with the cash I get back. Been looking for an excuse to buy him for a while now.

At least 7 that I can think of within 30 miles of me (Fort Worth/Dallas area). They are Targets with grocery stores, optical and little eaterys in them. Nice if you like avoiding the rabble at Wal-Mart.

Never ever seen a Super Target but I would love one around here since I detest WalMart...

Now it would only help if the closest Target had gotten them in the first place. Sheesh. And I had to go get them off of Toywiz instead.

Another markdown. Maybe now I'll buy the Springer/Ratbat set.
