I had the greatest moment ever as a Medic last night.

I was on the final part of Pipeline, and I had been sucking horribly at TF2 for the last few days. However, I always even out when playing as medic, all I have to do is avoid bullets, not aim them at people!

I was down at the bottom of the map, healing some straggler just as my team won the map.
As is my habit, I use the primary weapon glove-snapping taunt upon victory.

I was facing towards the two cart-ramps, and just as my Medic
says 'Another successful procedure' and snaps his glove, the RED team's base explodes right in front of my camera view, and a Rickroll starts playing for the enemy team. (On the server I was on, winning a map will cause a Rickroll to play)

It felt like the end of some cheesy action film or something.

Unfortunately, I did not have a replay.

I love the Sharp Dresser. It's functionally the same as the Spy's regular knife, but looks more badass.

In fact, i'm finding myself using the vanilla weapons over most special unlocks.

Hahaha a similar thing happened to me but I was a Demoman doing the bottle sipping taunt and there was this group of friends who all stood around either drinking or doing that laughing taunt. Twas very epic...for my team

But like you I unfortunately didn't get a pic

I was on a server once, and someone said that if enough people used the Equalizer's grenade-suicide taunt at the same time, it could crash the server.

"That's silly" you are saying, and I can hardly blame you, it does sound far fetched.

Then my entire team, myself included, decided to try it out. We all got together, tossed the weapon aside, pulled out the grenade, and sure enough, the server went down.

It was awesome.

That's awesome wish I could see that except I don't have that taunt

All you need is an Equalizer for the Soldier.

Anyways, I got a lucky drop in the form of a name tag. Used it on my Pyro's Degreaser. Called it "Spaceballs The Flamethrowah".

Yeah, I have on,e but unfortunately it's not tradeable. I purposefully make epic weapons that I know I will like (Black Box, Phlogistonator, Manmelter, Pomson, etc) untradeable to make sure I will always have them. It's kind of silly, but I like to be doubly sure of everything.

Also, I got a strange Quick-Fix! I overpaid for it somewhat, but I didn't sell anything that meant much to me. Now my Medic is completely strange! I have a strange Syringe Gun, a strange Quick-Fix, a strange Amputator and that strange 'spirit of giving' misc. that was given away during the Christmas updates.

Yea the Phlogistonator is actually really enjoyable to use. In case you don't know it charges up fire damage you deal in a single life(includes flare gun damages too) and puts that in a small charge bar called "MMmph" and when you get a full bar,You taught and your gun glows and raditates electicity like when your under the effects of a buff-banner and now all your Phlogistonator blasts do Critical hits. It's pretty awesome but you can't help put out fires or blast away rockets or bombs.

Yes! Yes! YESSSSS!!

Made a trade, two strange items I didn't even really want, a couple hats I could bear to part with, and the Strange Sticky Bomb Launcher is miiiiiiiiine!

It is the dawn of a new era. An era of sticky spamming so great as to be known only in legends of old. The streets will run red with gibs, and the weak shall cry "Goddamn sticky spamming noob!"

Would anyone be interested in buying a Strange Amputator for .66 Ref?

To be honest, I plan on buying the normal Bone saw since I hardly ever use the heal taunt, and need the extra Ref for a Strange Medigun.

Vanilla Medic gear looks the best on him in my opinion.

Anyone willing to buy a couple of crates from me? I've got at least 7 crates and need to clear up some backpack space

Yes! The strange Medigun is mine! I overpayed by about a rec, but it's worth it for a guaranteed trade.

Now my Medic has all of his stock weapons in the strange quality! And the best part is that I didn't pay a single dime for them! I've only been selling item drops for my metal!
(Getting a craft hat and selling it for metal yesterday really helped)

You know, I have a problem with the whole meta aspect of the mannconomy. Something is worth this many refined, or this many keys, or whatever. You know what the given value of any item is worth? How much the seller wants and how badly the buyer wants it. I gave up a bunch of hats, weapons, and I think a bit of metal just for a single Old Guadalahara. (Pyro's sombrero) Is that it's listed value? Absolutely not. Do I care? I'll take "Hell No" for 500, Alex.

(I did it so I could be El Muchacho)

Speaking of, according to Valve, Meet the Pyro is finished. Now they're just waiting for the right moment to release it.

You're in luck then. They just announced a weapons and items pack for the Pyro containing the rainbow flamethrower and lolipop.

The trick is, they'll only be visible to people wearing special Pyrovision goggles, which are being given away for free right now as Vintage, and will be obtainable by dominating anyone wearing a pair (Same deal as the Ghastly Gibus) after next Thursday.
