That was quite possibly the greatest video ever. They've outdone themselves.

You're in luck then. They just announced a weapons and items pack for the Pyro containing the rainbow flamethrower and lolipop.

The trick is, they'll only be visible to people wearing special Pyrovision goggles, which are being given away for free right now as Vintage, and will be obtainable by dominating anyone wearing a pair (Same deal as the Ghastly Gibus) after next Thursday.

Yeah I just played it last night,It's really funny because everyone has high-pitched voices and you laugh everytime you die. Problem is is that instead of being on-fire,your covered in glitter and confetti and it gets confusing when you're the pyro.

Other then that,It really adds some life to a couple of the maps.

Oh they also released a new gametype (whose name is escaping me now),but you have to bring a suitcase to a giant missle thing...

Yeah, Special Delivery. Kind of a cross between CTF, King of the Hill, and Payload. I tried it last night, it's actually pretty cool.

Yeah, it's been derping a lot the past couple days. That's just how it goes for big updates.

I tried verifying the cache and defragging the files. Neither worked. I really don't want to uninstall-reinstall.

Then don't, it would be more trouble than it's worth. The game just does this after big updates. Give it time, it'll work itself out.

And verifying the cache is often suggested about as frequently as rebooting your computer, with about the same results, that is, a rather remote chance that it's going to fix anything at all. All it does is check to see if there's any missing game files, and if you're game has been running fine for a matter of days, that was never the problem.

Wound up buying the Rainblower and a burning key. The crate I used the key on had a Strange Lolichop in it.

I am a happy Pyro.

I joined in on some random game and the pyro was so fun to play as. I would await infront of the wall the bots enter in at with my "upgraded" Backburner and wait til they hop over the hill. Crit's from behind, extra damage, huge ammo capacity, health for every kill I got,I was INVINCIBLE. Not a single bot survived the start of the wave. Then a tank came and I had to rethink my strategy and start over next round.

Luckfully we had a good Engineer who knew where to set up shop with his sentry and dispencer so I could just Run,burn, refill, and repeat. :michaelbay:

Kritzkrieg Medic and Heavy pair together, the ultimate killing machine. Not even joking. A Kritzkrieg Medic pretty much decides who gets all the kills.

So, Mann Versus Machine is going well for you all? Good! I've been having great frustration (mostly with my team composition) on Mann Up mode, and some great fun on Medieval MVM, which is possibly the greatest non-serious game-mode the TF2 community has ever made.
All the 'bots have their classes' stock melees, with the exceptions of special melee 'bots, and Eyelanders rack up heads like no one's business.

On another note, I have just spent 35 dollars, ~4 hours and a good deal of my claim to having a life on a Strange Gunslinger.

(The whole $35 didn't go to the Gunslinger, I bought Mann Up tickets and sold them for 1.66 'til I got enough Metal/keys.)

And to think when I started this thread I was a F2P that thought that Gibuses and Quick-Fixes were cool.

Contains lots of blood and some foul language. It's also the most amazing use of Source Filmmaker to date.

I absolutely love this game. Best PC game I've played in my life. I rock with Soldier, and somewhat with Sniper. I only play Scout in some Attack and Defend matches, and Mann Vs Machine. Me and my friend always look up the most hilarious videos on Youtube for Team Fortress 2.

Here are some of the best ones I've seen:
1. Anyone seen "Team Fabulous 2"? Most hilarious video I have ever seen. (Only the first half is hilarious with mass chaos. You'll know when it reaches that point. Otherwise just watch the whole video.)
2. "Dat Inteliigence". Two silly spies go on a mystical journey to capture the Blu Intelligence. However, they get caught red handed. Who do they go to ask for help?
3. "TF2 Air". Ever wonder what it's like to ride on a plane full of Team Fortress 2 and other Gmod Characters? Well then, this video is just the one that explains everything.
4. "Moments with Heavy: Heavy goes Bowling" Heavy goes bowling with his team and who knows what can happen?
5. "Team Fortress 2- Yeah Toast!" Anyone like toast like the Engineer in this video does? Sing along to a catchy tune that he sings on his own, along with some deaths of a few people...
6. "Moments with Heavy: Heavy takes his Driving Test" Heavy finally learns how to drive, but is it the proper way? Will he succeed?
7. "The Vicious Cycle of 2Fort" Ever wonder what a typical day in TF2 Gmod's like in 2Fort?
8. "Scout Breaks his Fingers" What happens when Scout breaks his fingers....?????
9. "Sasha" Heavy loves his gun, who's the one who always teases him about that?
10. "Heavy is Telephone" Never answer a Heavy Phone... Bad things can happen to you.
11. "Need a Dispenser Here" Do you really need a Dispenser? Call the Engineers!!!

And then I'd probably go on, but you can look for more.

"No seriously, you all suck. If you order now, I'll go on a second beatin', absolutely free! Look at me Look at me! I'm running in circles around you! BONK."

Plus this is a message to all those Soldier Players out there! if you have a hard time rocket jumping, check out a video called "Rocket Jump Champion". This guy named STAR plays a pixelated game of TF2 where you're a Soldier and you Rocket Jump your way through, dodging spikes and collecting hats. It can get quite frustrating, but I was told it might help with Rocket Jumping in the actual game.

Rocket jumping isn't that hard. Aim down, jump, and shoot. Grenade jumping? That's hard, due to the grenade's erratic movement after hitting the ground and delayed timer. Sticky jumping is easy, since you control exactly where the explosion occurs, and doing it right, (dropping two stickies instead of one) you can jump clear across a map. But if you don't do it just right, you won't survive the jump. Also you'd need to get to a health pack quick, since you'll most likely have your health dropped to the teens.

Sometimes I'm thankful we Demomen lost the war, the game would have become totally broken if we got the Gunboats for ourselves.

Through the magic (curse?) of the Holiday Sale, I have acquired L4D and L4D2. This also means I have acquired The Frying Pan with which to smack people around with.

Other Seibertronians enjoy war-themed hat simulators? This is wonderful news.

I joined as a F2P when the game became F2P, got really into it starting around Winter 2011, and have since put entirely too much real money into my digital arsenal. I main Pyro and wear the Ghastly Gibus and the Whiskered Gentleman, dubbing myself the "Gentleman Pyro". I'm hunting for other items that would augment that look, so if you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Anyone ever needs an Engie or wants to war on the six original maps feel free to let me know.

Anyone wants me to join them on maps released after 2007 can bring me along if they want to see me run into dead ends and fail to find the correct sentry position.

So I hadn't played TF2 in a long time. So long that I forgot how much fun Vs Saxton Hale mode is.

For the uninitiated, It's a mode where everyone is intentionally overpowered and tries to kill Saxton Hale. A ton of frantic fun that might shave a few years of your lifespan from shear terror.
