Wow, and I thought my geography was bad. :lol:

I think it has something to do with either french moving into the south, or their heritage being from france, from all the invasions. If that was the case though, I'm sure france could claim northern france as england if they wanted.

Psychout's logic also suggests one of my grandfathers was French. Which means, as southerners (or the descendant of one in my case), we have a genetical disposition to wave white flags. Geez, I hope I don't meet a German, I'd probably hand over all my possessions...
