TF Prime FE Cliffjumper vs. FE Terrorcon Cliffjumper

Postby SpaceKaseJase » Tue Oct 30, 2012 11:30 pm

Need some "expert" advice. I recently ordered FE Cliffjumper from TRU. Rec'd Terrorcon Cliffjumper instead. After explaining the error using the different UPC numbers, cust scv told me they will send the correct item and to keep the Tcon Cjumper, no cost. Which should i open when my original order arrives? In other words, which is most likely going to be worth more misb? Please feel free to move this post to the proper forum if this is not it.

The original Cliffjumper would be worth more. That one's not being re-released and didn't make it to the U.S. Terrorcon Cliffjumper has already been re-released, henceforth more common.

Umm, actually I feel both would be worth about the same after a while, because after some time later, FE Terrorcon would be rare too..

But I would advise you to open both.. don't think any of these 2 returns will be great in MOSC..

Thanks for the reply. If the rerelease is Terrorcon, I wonder if TRU made a mistake by listing an item they will never have in stock. Perhaps they will send another Terrorcon lol.

I think this, the original FE wasn't supposed to be getting a re-release.

Yeah, that kinda sucks. Not a big fan of Terrorcon's deco. I wonder how TRU is going to rectify this considering it false advertising.

It's probably a simple mistake, and an understandable one considering all the confusion Hasbro has caused with the Prime line. It's not "false advertising" unless they're deliberately misleading people.

True--I was not referring to "false advertising" in a legal sense, but rather in a literal sense. It obviously was not intentional. However, I did technically pay for an item I did not receive, which means I was mislead. The website displayed FE Cliffjumper (the one without the goofy zombie look), and the packing slip had the correct UPC for it--though Terrorcon is what I rec'd. I'm not upset at TRU--quite the contrary: they told me to keep Terrorcon, and they will send FE Cliffjumper at no extra cost. That's good cust svc. Unfortunately, based on what I read in this thread retail FE Cliffjumper may no longer exist (although TRU is supposed to send it to me in a few days). Just wondering how this will turn out. Thanks for your reply.

If you still want a FE CJ, you might want to try to get the Generations (GDO) version. I know some people don't like the head sculpt, but I don't mind it.
