Here is the main baddy of the Prime universe. Overall, this is an outstanding figure and one of my favorite "Cybertronian" Megatrons, but there are a few design choices that just baffle me.

Great review man. And yeah I have to admit, as much as think those customs paints of the shiney metallic look cool to me, he is not shiny at all, more a pure metallic color. I'm curious, how is this Voyager Megs in comparison to say any version of the Classics mold Megatron?

There is no comparison between the two. I like classic megs but he is a completely different beast. In the wings department though, Prime Megatron has very little compared to the Henkei version I have.

Ok, cool. I'm curious about the heigh (who is taller or are they the same size?)? I asked because there was sense that voyagers had gotten smaller because of the size of the movie figures but I saw where the FE Optimus towered above the classics mold and I think the RiD version maybe a little taller as well, so I was curious about the height of Prime and Classics/United Megs - at least by heads because I kind of ignore the whole "wings" kibble.
