I don't generally buy Transformers online but I have ordered a dozen or so things from BBTS since I discovered them last year (through Amazon, funnily enough). Don't have any complaints with them, but I did notice that an MP I was considering placing a pre-order on costs the same on BBTS as it does on TF Source.

Having never ordered from TF Source I don't know anything about them or their services. So... if anyone has personal experience with TF Source and doesn't mind sharing, that'd be awesome.

BBTS is what I use. POL wins. I only use TFSource when I can't find something obscure on BBTS, ToyArena or eBay.

To echo much of what has been said, I tend to favor BBTS (at least at first). However, more recently I have been splitting almost equally between BBTS and TF Source.

To be clear, you can also choose to pay later at TFSource for preorders. I did so very recently for my MP-13 Soundwave. One thing TFSource does better is the free shipping on orders over $150 and since MP Soundwave is $169 (same at BBTS) it was better to go with TFSource for the free shipping. I also picked up AM-12 Breakdown from TFSource while he was sold out on BBTS. I even preordered the Silas verson from TFSource while he was still sold out on BBTS too.

However, I buy all of other non-TF stuff from BBTS. Customer service has been great for both. I had a preorder question about MP Soundwave and asked TFSource and BBTS the same question on the same day. They both responded 1 day later.

So, it's really a wash because their prices are usually the same. But if you're spending over the $150 mark, I'd go with TFSource for free shipping! I love them both.

I've been staying BBTS just because I have been collecting across lines.
However I'm more focused on MP's and 3rd party stuff, so I frequent TFsource now, probably gonna spend some serious dough with them this month.

They are both equally good in my opinion. BBTS with their pol that you can cancel and TFSource with their free shipping. But I find myself spending most of my time with robot kingdom. While their site sucks and you have to pay for preorders upfront I find that their prices are the lowest even after shipping on a lot of products (although less so in recent months) they ship from hongkong but shipping is still very fast and customer service is awesome. Still when all is said and done I go for the best deals.. This hobby is too expensive not to.

Ive actually never taken advantage of this feature (I usually ship rigth away). Hey I have a question if you don't ship a preorder once it's in stock do they charge you when item is instock? Or when you decide to ship your pol? I can't imagine you would want to pay for preorders that's in stock and wait months to build up to save on shipping right? I was never clear on that. I also assume you can't cancel your pol item once it's instock correct? Hmmm...

BBTS for a wider selection and PoL
TFSource for new Loyalty Program and often better price
although Captured Prey has been getting much more business from me recently; great prices and excellent customer service
