Am I the only one who wish TFC would have released a G2 Devy in orange instead of this thing ? Orange would have made a great dual purpose for those who wanted a G2 Devy and made an excellent Autobot color for the Shattered Glass fans. Much better than white. I just gave in and bought yellow Giant because TFC probally wont make this happen...




Can anybody who does Digi-bash do a render of Hercules in Orange ? Much appreciated.

They did an online survey as to whick recolor people wanted. The Shattered Glass recolor had the most votes.

i really like this version. it doesn't even register as constructicons except a little with the gestalt form. with no faction symbols they'd be repurposeable as autobots. still too expensive for me though.

I dont remember any survey being posted here or TFW2005. Where was it and what were the other options ???

I suspect this thing will be in stock everywhere for the next 6 months. If that happens, then everybody who voted for the SG version didnt buy it and ruined the vote for everyone else. Wasnt it supposed to be limited to 500 pieces ??? Judging from the pre-orders not being sold out, I dont think we have 500 serious buyers.

Limited to 2000 pieces, shared exclusive between BBTS and RobotKingdom. The survey was probably on TFClub's website or Facebook, not fan sites.

Honestly, I thought ANY recolor would be a hard sell. Most of us who bought into Hercules paid a pretty steep price for it, and weren't ready to do it all over again for a different color scheme. MakeToys' Giant was much easier on the wallet which is why I have both yellow and green. I'd rather put out the $500+ on Uranos than Perseus, maybe others are in the same boat as I am.

Ive got almost $800 invested in Hercules. I guess one Herc is enough at their prices. Really would have preferred a orange G2 Devy over yellow. I pre-ordered a yellow Giant while the price is right at TF Source. I saw a video review for the yellow version of Giant that included new parts for "fixes" including a new head. Do you know if this re-stock will include the removable crane on Hook like the green version ? Out of all my complaints about Giant, that crane arm is #1. Also, how is the application of the "MTC" logos ? Tempo or decal ? If decal, are they applied straight or all crooked. Im going with reprolabels for sure but have not decided whether or not to remove the MTC logos for values sake...

I was one of those who voted for SG, but I can't buy it as I was expecting them to sell them individually, not as a set. Diaclone colors came in second with 5 less votes then SG.

G2 orange actually came in last. It is all in the Perseus wikialpha article.
