Optimusfan79 wrote:With dinobots combining every single TF fan can't say they didn't want to see that when you watch Heavy Metal War, The Movie, & Call of the Primitives, seeing Devestator get the best of them or watching them not begin able to handle Predaking & Abominus. Look @ that custom dinobot custom everyone would want that. Next to a city TF the dino's r suppose to be the badest bots out their. I'm happy somebody went above & beyond to give us want 90% of TF fans always wanted to see hasbro do. It looks great so far can't what to see the finished product!

karellan wrote:Even if you personally don't like the idea of dinobots combining, it's obvious that most people do. Do a search on ebay for "dinobot combiner" and see how many crappy customs there are and what people are willing to pay for them. It's about time a third party made one that was actually GOOD.

I for one don't want the Dinobots to ever combine again. Seriously, cut this sh!t out. Saying they should combine is like saying the Wreckers should combine or the Sweeps or the Headmasters. It's all just unnecessary. Most fans actually don't want a dinosaur combiner. Or at least not that one.

karellan wrote:And yes, Hasbro is moronic for not doing this themselves. They made Grimlock into other gimmicky stuff like Pretenders, etc., but never made the dinobots into the original gimmick -- a combiner? Utterly stupid.

The original gimmick was transforming and only the Actionmasters didn't do that which is a gimmick in itself "yo dawg" style.

@ Zod you cut it out homie you make up that 10% that don't wanna see that & majority rules. If didn't nobody wanna that we would be having this discussion or this toy being made. Like i said that custom Dino combiner Extinction was amazing! If this company is smart enough to make them I think they aren't finished makin them into the way we always pictured. The wreckers, hm, & sweeps noone wanted to see them combine but they do & have wanted to see the Dino's that's a fact.

The combined mode is pretty sweet no doubt but i'm not interested. I don't need or want combining Dinobots. Excellent figure though.

I'm not a fan of the Dino combining, so if these look good in robot mode, I'll buy them and just not combine them ;)

They all look like cracking figures but they're just not my thing. I could never be happy with a Defensor who's bigger than a Dinobot combiner.

Once to see what it's like perhaps, but IMO (and only IMO) the Dinobots are seperate characters, not combiners.

Now if these were coloured to be reminiscent of Dinoking then things may be different.

Except that Dinoking and Monstructor were six characters each. Still, cool idea.

They don't look as good as the FOC designs IMO. So if Hasbro does sit on those figures we hoped for the first time again while throwing out more BumbbleBees and Primes. Well.....

It doesn't hurt that I didn't even see Victory until the Madman Headmasters/Victory/Masterforce release in '09. In fact, aside from having a couple of them as a kid, I only know the Pretender Monsters from Marvel's Rhythms of Darkness! when I was 10. Jim Lee did the cover and it was the first issue I got when I really started collecting comics and was blown away by it! Still, they never even combined in the issue!

sad thing is that on the dvds the dinoforce/dinoking were a bunch of bungling morons - really cant see these figs being repainted to represent that facet of the tf universe

Additional images of TFC Toys upcoming Dino-Combiner have popped up on Action Figure Checklist. In this set of images we finally get to see all of the figures in their robot modes. Good enough to become your Classics universe Dinobots? Check out the images mirrored below.

Meh. I don't need my Dinobots to combine. I would rather see better robot and dino mold without having to sacrifice for the combiner functions.

So the tails have to be removed and set aside? That's disappointing, and makes these figures less attractive.

They are Waaaaay to small......They need to be upsized to at least the size the Hercules toys are at. I mean wtf?? Making merge groups so small is just dumb. It looks cool, but if there scout sized with a deluxe Grimlock, whats the point??? It wont sell very well.

Combined mode is looking pretty crappy and you have to remove the tails for robot mode.

Swoop and Slag look good, Grimlock is mediocre, and as for Snarl and Sludge, scrap no! Neither of them are toy/cartoon-accurate enough for me. I get that they need to diverge a little so they don't have Hasbro on their afts, but I don'y like em'.
