Jagoff. Are you from Pittsburgh?
Gauntlet101010 wrote:Looks great!
Now watch them ruin it with completely off colors.

(I'm sorry...but did they think the name through?)
I'll start getting excited when we start seeing actual pictures. I could be persuaded by the Aerialbots, because they were the most developed of the G1 combiner teams, I think. Also, will need a Silverbolt for my eventual Magnificent Six display.

dude, they are developing interest, don't click on a link that says BLURRED IMAGE IN THE DAMNED TITLE AND THEN COMPLAIN ABOUT IT. Such a jagoff thing to do...
which product were you basing this statement on? Herc looks amazing because it isn't that awful pale yellow green of the G1 figures.

I stand with Kibble on this. They'd get far more interest generated if we could actually see something.

Mkall wrote:It's not that. I'm most likely going to like it and buy it. It's the fact that they think this is a good promotion tactic that annoys the piss out of me. It's like saying "We have something cool but you can't have it." It's like the rich kid at school who always shows up with the coolest toys but won't let you near them.
Gauntlet101010 wrote:So, here's a good question:
If you have Herc and now Uranus (seriously, why Uranus? Makes no sense) with both being, presumably, around the same size, where does that leave FP's Bruticus in your collection?

Maybe if they've gotten very good at disassembling it I can believe it, but for regular joes it is not going to come off.
Which isn't to say it'd be IMPOSSIBLE to release a new shovel. But it'd have to come with new arms and at least a part of the legs as well, and it'd probably be greatly overpriced for such a small change and I can't see anyone but TFC actually releasing it because it'd probably have to come with arms and legs already attached.
Yes, I've seen the WIP pics of all the pieces taken apart as well as posts saying they took them apart to paint. And damn do they look good now!
I've scratched up a TF by trying to remove a rivet, so I'm still skeptical that a "fix" is even possible for the average TF fan. It sounds to me like you should just pay one of them to repaint it for you instead of waiting for a fix that'll probably never happen.

Same place it leaves Henkei or United Megs (or Pokeheger), ML Soundwave, and the seekers? Cool figs that aren't exactly in scale with one another...
However, how big will Superianus actually be?
BTW, I took your advice:Gauntlet101010 wrote:Kibble wrote:Gauntlet101010 wrote:You don't suppose they've just been careful not to paint the wrong areas instead of taking it all apart?
