Silverbolt looks really great. Not sure about as a Superion torso though, and I agree that there will definately be a 4th party breastplate released.

That little drone thing though? Looks terrible. It doesn't look like it could fly even if you chucked it. Aestheticaly, it doesn't match the 'real' planes at all.

Damn, so that thing is real? Not the first time I've been wrong, I guess. The TFC version looks pretty lumpy though.

Why bother censoring the head?

If you were an unloved, unnessasary 6th member of a classic team, would you really want to show your face in public?

@Trikeboy;

I am sure we all appreciate your efforts...but if I may:

It seems to me that his left side (our right as we view him face on) seems to be woefully underdetailed. This is in no way a knock on your coloring efforst...I am just looking for someone to refresh my memory because I actually had this G1 set as a kid and honestly dont remember such a disparity in how much color he had on one side.

If this actually IS G1 accurate, then I would hope TFC actually breaks from tradition here and adds some color on those two other limb-bots...at least a couple splashes of red on each one...his "grey" side just seems so...sad to me.

I think the sixth member's head is censored because they haven't really put much work into it yet, it's just a placeholder head or something, and they don't want anybody crying fowl because they used such and such's head in the interim.

I used this picture as my reference when making that digibash:

If you take the stickers off it is basically the same. I understand what you mean though, when I was making the bash I realised he is very white on one side and all the colour seems to go on his right. I hadn't really noticed that before. This is the official configuration but of course, since it is a scramble city combiner you may have attached his limbs in a different configuration.

AHA! and there he is!

So much about this team i remember as a kid LOL...from how silverbolts arms only swung at the elbows to the nubbly little square heads....2 of mine actually snapped off inside silverbolt's shoulders ending my Superion days for good :-(.

Whoever's bot this is must not realize his arms wouldnt look so stubby if he extended the bot's bottom halves (the way they are in robot mode). You can also try this with his legs, but they look pretty gangly the way they are.

Digibashes from Necio of TFW2005

SR-71 version - TFC affinity for black makes this highly likely

also this is what it looks like for the most part without the 6th bot

silverbolt's chest plate down and with it up

These all look great-I'd take any of these color combinations. I hope the final production version gets a blue visor option for the gestal head. Not holding my breath though.

Praying for either the white and black version because it is real and it looks good. But I wouldnt complain if we get a white version. Anything but black. I already got a black SR-71 named Jetfire.

now THOSE are worth a look...although I think TFC could do a better job coming up with something to do with all that back kibble (gives me the impression that, when viewed from the back, would make me think, "man this guy hardly changes at all during transformation"...)

Also, may I be the first one to point out that, according to how Silverbolt's chest appears in that last set of photos, Superion will look MUCH more G1 accurate WITHOUT the stupid "6th member" chest plate that is causing such a heated debate anyways...TFC TAKE NOTE KKTHXBAI.

c/o Bystander from TFW2005:

Also, all NECIO's works on SB have been well received by both TFC and Jeff, the designer of Uranos as I forwarded all to photos to their blogs last night. Based on on a fullon discussion followed on Jeff's blog, in which he has participated, he personally prefers NECIO's M21 color theme as well as unveils that thus far the white 'G1 theme' is the most favorable while the 'Black SR71' is least liked by Chinese fans.

Going against the grain here, but I still can't get excited about these guys. They look awesome, but just out of scale for my collection. I want to see how they scale with Giant before opening my wallet to TFC.

TFC needs to stop fooling around and just show us the completed prototype. I'm not even considering these until that happens.

The scale bothers me as well.

I'm assuming that your don't have Hercules... Uranus will be around the same size as Herc.

I do own Herc, which is why I can't get excited about Uranos. To me, Giant is more refined and cleaner than Herc.

I'll probably just keep my FP Superion.

The scale bothers me as well.

Since jets are typically as large as or much larger than average construction vehicles, I'm going to let the scale of TFC's Superion slide. Plus, he'll be my only Autobot combiner so I want him to look imposing.

Plus, if MMC's Predaking is huge, Superion's size will balance that out-at least in my collection.
