Nice Drawings. When I see them in plastic then I'll start getting worked up.

Essentially, this. But when they do... preordered on SIGHT!

TFC sold me on Hercules. Im all in on both sets. Especially the Terrorcons. Hasbro is not known for making beast alt modes in their classics related lines. Only 3 have been made, and 2 of them were Beast Wars. (3rd being Grimlock) So TFC is the perfect company to get the job done. :D

Agreed. The only way we'll get these proper is by 3rd party companies. With that being said, i'm a little tentative about getting too excited about the Terrorcons. That Hun-Grr sketch is a little busy for my liking. Sharpy and jaggedy.....know what i mean?

It'll be a really tough job to get the designs right for those guys. I'm thinking the designers may over think the re-imagining of them and make them more futuristic and less monstrous.

I remember FrenzyRumble had started a Terrorcon project a while back that looked spectacular but i haven't heard of any progress since and that was a couple years ago. His designs were dead on. He didn't have bot modes though. Just piecing together the alt modes. Which looked properly repugnant.

I reckon they are a hard thing to design without getting too BeastWarsish.

Those Technobot sketches look very promising.

Weeeellllllllll...... If you consider Univers.... I have 29 American beast mode "classics" including Hun Gurr: Also not pictured is the Universe Optimus Prime Voyager lion in red and blue and some smaller legends primes that I can't remember which line exactly they came from. :D

I'm just messin' with you Rated X. I am Totally on board for both. Hell, I still wanna see some modern Seacons! Personally, I'd like to see Computron first. I coveted that thing as a kid and always wanted one. Finally having him is just as awesome as I imagined it would be and would love to see a classics version.

Am I the only one who doesn't think much of the Autobot combiners? I don't me I don't like them, I mean that they literally don't come to mind as readily as most Cons counter parts. I readily know Devastor, Bruticus, and Predaking (why will no one make a Classicverse of him? :-( ) and I know Menasor, Piranhacon, and Abominus, but the Autobots are outside of that.

Edit: except Superion, but FansProject already took the suck out of Hasbro's version.

Honestly....a REALLY like G1 Superion. Him, next to Computron, are the most coherent of the G1 autobot combiners. Aesthetically they hit a string for me. I've never seen a Defensor but he's a pretty clean design as well.

Decepticon wise.....Devastator and Predaking are also very succinct designs that don't require a significant suspension of disbelief. Bruticus and Menasor are just boring to me. Piranacon is rad but he has heaps of kibbley stuff happening. Monstructor is too tiny.

As for the Con Combiners taking the lime light in respect to combiners. For one, they have more. Secondly, they are used more often in attempts to turn tides of battles and generally are cooler in almost every respect.
That's the way i see it anyhow. Autobot combiners are usually a last resort it seems.

You got me there my friend. I didnt think about repaints of older molds and wasnt counting Botcon exclusives. I was thinking along the lines of original molds. I did consider classics Ravage as #4 but changed my mind since the alt mode is actually the cassette. ;)

Hey was that cybertron Scourge on the right an original mold when it was released or a repaint of the original cybertron Scourge mold ???

I guess Herc must have done well if TFC's mulling over more combiners. But I agree that the Autobot combiners weren't sold nearly as hard as the Decepticon ones. The Combiner concept seems to fit the cons more, IMHO, as they ought to have SOME sort of advantage over the bots.

But this is good news for Computron fans. Hopefully they won't mess up the colors as they seem to have in mind for the Dinobots.

TFC Toys Taking on the Terrorcons and Alpha Trion?

More sketches appeared on Actoys posted by Hsaio Red claiming concept sketches from TFC. The first image looks like a serious possibility for Rippersnapper or even Blot with his broad shoulders and long clawed arm. Although the predominant shark features would hint more at Rippersnapper. Also posted is a car that at first glance could easily stand in for Technobot Lightspeed. However, an inspection of the head design would strongly indicate an Alpha Trion. There is no official word yet on these sketches, however the Technobots and Terrorcons have been hinted at by TFC.

And now I'm confused. Though a new Alpha Trion would be nice.

I'm all in for a new Abominus. My fave Combiner.

Also, is it just me or does Alpha Trion's alt mode and chest invoke a Chromedome feel?

Scattershot looks really good, the others are meh... Transformation is very easy to guess, they look very simple figures, hope they are 4 scouts and deluxe, or 4 deluxes and a voyager but no more than that.

These ones seem very faithful to the original designs, right down to the transformations. I'll be watching this with interest.
